Many of my most interesting visions occur in the period of lightish sleep before waking, including some which, with hindsight, have apparently been precognitive, and others which have had connections with historical scenarios. Others are apparently disconnected, perhaps just from inability on my part to interpret them.
Two days ago, in one of these pre-waking visions, I found myself in a brightly sunlit place, with many people milling about dressed in asian or arabic type clothes, so could have been in the indian subcontinent, or the middle east. Amongst the crowds was a medium-sized expanse of muddy water, and in this I saw a baby floundering and struggling, apparently drowning. What shocked me was that this was happening in full view of the milling crowds, yet no-one seemed in the least bothered!
I waded in, and rescued the baby, comforting it as I did so. As I did so, I felt immense gratitude from the little mite, who then seemed to morph into more of an adult form, before the scene ended (as far as my memory serves).
(The scene then changed to what I think was an unrelated "story", where I was walking alongside a dangerous-looking gulley, seemingly man-made, and remarking to a companion how bad I thought it was for such a structure to have been left by the path, unprotected.)
My first thought about the baby vision was one of bafflement - it was only some time after I wondered if perhaps it was a retrieval, as I know from my readings on here that such things can happen, without conscious intent on our part. A rewarding experience, in any event!
