You're probably right about M.S., i can't really say as i don't know him, but I do remember him talking about dealing with depression and in any case, i was more referencing to the earlier version of him. And no, I didn't mean to say that i think he is egotistical. I think there is a difference between normal selfishness and being egotistical.
I use to experience really deep, suicidal depression Beau. It was for four main reasons; my body was really imbalanced & toxic, i was an overly self centered person (not PUL attuned enough), i experienced a lot of deep, painful, testing challenges throughout my childhood, and I was being influenced by unfriendly outer forces (i was unconscious to this at the time though) . I still sometimes experience brief, temporary sadness or frustration. I'm definitely not "enLightened".
One thing I really respect about R.E.M. is how much charity stuff they have done. And i agree, it's a pretty creative band. Like i said, i like a good portion of their music, though I don't agree with all messages contained therein.
Regarding T.C.'s forum, it's interesting that you see it that way. I think the total time i was there, i maybe mentioned the name Yeshua/Jesus maybe just a total of 3 or so times. It was definitely not a focus of mine there, like it sometimes becomes here (and here, i'm often responding to other peoples mentioning of him, like on this thread for example).
Actually, i was trying to get some there to see that it was limiting to turn M.B.T. into a belief system. It really seems that some there have turned it into their own bible of sorts. The first big red flag about that forum is that one has to discuss only MBT and related info--imagine if we were only allowed to discuss just Bruce Moen's work and related info here? Tom is a great source of information, and as far as I can tell, the huge majority of his info is more or less accurate and helpful (that's rare for me to say about spiritual/consciousness sources).
But, he is not "enLightened" either, and always the better and more effective way is to get info from within and attuning to the most expanded and PUL attuned guidance one can. I often mentioned the importance of this, and outlined good methods of doing so.
In any case, the issue there is not T.C., but his moderator. I have nothing personal against him, but he is forcing "low entropy there" by constantly squashing so much different views, ideas, etc and people that don't "fit in" with the clique. That forum would probably work a lot better, and be much more alive and vital, if it had a peer moderator system like this one does. It's not perfect by any means, but no system is, and especially not where the majority of power is in the hands of one person.
In any case, the past is the past, but i was curious about what you felt.
