Around 30 years ago, I was stationed in Japan while in the U.S. Air Force. Every once in a while at least several times a year and almost every year since I returned home, I'll have a dream about being sent back to Japan for the Air Force. Sometimes certain family members may go there as well. In this dream I'm about to mention, I went as a regular civilian with my wife, mother, father, brothers and sister on a vacation trip.
Another thing to mention is that I occasionally talk to animals in dreams. Sometimes verbally and sometimes telepathically. With these two pieces of info to help unravel the meanings of the dream with, I now include what I can remember of it.

My family and I were in Japan and planning to take a plane back home. I somehow got separated from the others and was waiting for a Japanese family to give me a ride to the airport. In the meantime, I was trying to talk to a kid around 8 or 9 years old and trying to remember all of the Japanese words I could from 30 years ago when I was stationed there in the Air Force. They wanted to feed me dinner first so the grandmother(?) fed me a plate of food with big slabs of meat on it. I tried to explain that I was vegetarian so I picked around the meat to eat the vegetables.
Later we road to the airport but all I could see was the coast line. I ended up following the kid down to the water to watch the waves but the police made us go back up. We ended up walking along this field that was separated from the road by a two foot barbed wire fence. This small dog (foot and a half long?) crawled past the wire fence and got trapped. I climbed past the fence and went to rescue it. The dog was evading me so I explained to it that I was there to rescue it and carry it back to safety. The dog finally let me pick it up and I placed it on the road side of the barbed wire fence.
When I got back to safety myself, I noticed that I had got many little thorns all over the bottom of one of my feet. I was pulling out the thorns and then noticed various tools and metal pieces were somehow embedded in my foot. The more of them I pulled out, the more that showed up. When I finally got all of it out of my foot, I saw that the center 4 inches or so of my foot were completely gone. I went to show someone that I needed medical help. After several minutes, we looked at the foot again to see it back to normal. We agreed that it must have been a miracle from God.
The family and I resumed walking to the airport when we came upon a magnificent view of snow capped mountains. I commented on how that would be a good ski location. Soon we came upon airplanes and the airport. That’s all I remember.
