Shared dreaming........HELP!
May 30th, 2011 at 11:03am

I have been dreaming the same places every night for about 3 years now. I have been able to recall and have lucid dreams at will since a very early age, but lately I have not been able to recognize the intention of the characters in my dreams. It's like i am leading a seperate life from my own, I'm not unhappy with my own so i don't see this as a way to fill some kind of void in my life. I have an apartment above a deli/coffee shop by day where I work and at night a bar in the back opens, the bar is all the way across the room form the door and is set back kind of in another room the bar itself is sort of half moon shaped, and there are high top tables and chairs. there is a book store next door and then down the way is a candy/ basic needs store. I ride a bus to college and when i am on it everything out of the windows is white. the college is huge white and has small long slanted dark windows. When i arrive it is almost always in the cafeteria and everyone yells welcome back, problem is I have never seen any of the people before. I feel like i have know them my whole life though. often times there is a reunion of some sort at a hotel my a river, there is a pool with a tiki bar in the back, but the strange thing is there is a path into the woods next to the hotel and it leads up a cliff to an old run down castle that is positioned high on the cliff with a thin waterfall running off the cliff front next to the castle. The river below is filled with what i thought was alligators..... then this guy arrives and is in my dreams for a while, and informs me that they are actually salt water crocodiles?  Now i am finding myself in what i think is his dream space... a house with many rooms seperated by hanging cloth, it is a three floor house with the bedrooms being on top. he takes me into each room and tells me something important about each one, but i can't remember what he says when i wake up.... the last time i was there he told me to put Orange Zest and Corriander into something... Are these key words to remember to find him again? Is he a spirit guide or a dream? Am i sharing a dream with someone else? and if so why don't I know him?..... Also why am i stuck in the same town every night, I want my ability to go anywhere and do anything back, but i feel like this is important Smiley

Hi
and welcome!

Maybe all your lucid dreaming has opened your consciousness, so that you're meeting stuck souls in need of retrievals --?  Your experiences are in a slightly different format than most of us have experienced but 'the afterlife' is becoming more apparent in many lives in diverse ways.

Are you familiar with retrieving? If not, to try it you would have to make your role most important even when others seem to be telling you important stuff. You have to keep the attention of the secondary person and get them to relax abit while introducing them to a Helper who can then get them to move higher into more fitting afterlife levels. Characters like yours do not seem to be suffering but may need a boost to even higher realms.

Take the fellow who thinks every room in his house is important-- maybe it's really not and that's why you don't remember it. Who might he open up to besides you --a historian, a professor, a real estate agent, a friend? The Helper can take on whatever role is needed, you just set the stage and distract the retrievee from his obsession.

Can't hurt to try it.  Smiley

thank you for the advice, I haven't tried what your describing before. How would I know for sure that this guy is a lost spirit? And once identified how do I set the stage for an introduction to a helper?

Also about the other dreams, any ideas? i have had shared dreaming experiences with very few people that i have met, but there has also been incidents when i have met them later after dreaming...

for example, I was in my early teens and trying to master lucid dreaming to keep the bad dreams out, when i found myself in this club setting. of course i had never been to one yet as i was only 15, but I remember ending up there several nights in a row. I would walk into the room and people would part down the middle leaving an open spot at the end where a man was standing. I couldn't make out the man for the first few times, but I eventually met him face to face... he said his name was Jeremy and that I would be meeting him soon, problem was that he said he lived in Washington state. I was living in the southeast at the time and thought that we would never meet. One year later on new years eve I met Jeremy from washington state at a business function for my dad that i wasn't even supposed to attend, and he said he had met me before in a dream. He decribed it to me and it was exactly the same as mine.

I am wondering if this is similar to that incident, or if it is something like you are saying and if it is can you help? all i want to do is help Smiley

And if it's a shared dream and you recognize any of this please feel free to tell me lol Smiley

Hi Stalagmite,

Everyone's trip into these realms is unique, and yours is different than I've experienced or read about on this site. No cause for anxiety. Just enjoy the wonders of an expanding universe -- you have a front row seat!   Smiley

The odds of finding a person who shares the same dream seem rather rare! Did you and Jeremy start a friendship or keep some contact information ? Perhaps the meaning of meeting him will become more evident later.  I've had situations develop  years  after they were introduced 'psychically.'

It may not be necessary to 'know' that this fellow in the mansion is a lost spirit. 'Knowing,' the way it's usually said, means having physical proof, and he exists in the non-physical  Smiley  If you treat him as a spirit and he does go away with the Helper, then he was a spirit and you have helped him move onward.  At the least it's a step in the direction that has been offered you.

The Helpers have set up this situation for you, so they will be there when you're ready.  In such a retrieval you are an actor (and a director,) acting out a role to keep this fellow from his preoccupation. The Helpers will take on whatever role you set up by introducing them to him. They want to get him to move upward into higher realms ('focus levels.')

It's hard to briefly explain how all this works.  Have you read the short explanations posted at the top/beginning of this site?

Regarding your other dream of a section of a city --because many city buildings there are white, it seems you are visiting the 'Afterlife--Focus Level 26--27,'  where we go after we leave the physical. Some people can get up there without permanently leaving their bodies, and maybe you are doing that.
Perhaps the bar is a place where you will meet others who will come into your life when the time is right.
Perhaps the people at the bar are old friends from your spiritual family.
You all could be sending your consciousnesses out there to meet each other, even though on physical Earth you are temporarily separated, geographically.
When you find yourself there again you could ask someone there where they're living now, etc --just a friendly chat. Perhaps their answers will give you clues.

The Afterlife is like an extra dimension.  It takes some getting used to. Lucid dreaming and these retrievals are each a way into the afterlife.  Enjoy!

Betson

Thank you so much Betson.  And yes i did actually have a relationship with Jeremy, he was supposed to wrestle in a match that i felt he shouldn't go to. He believed me only because of the psychic connection we had. He didn't go and it turned out the guy he was supposed to wrestle fouled and broke some guys spinal cord. We broke up, but i think that was why i was lead to him, to help him.

It makes sense that i would be reaching the afterlife without leaving my body permanently. When i was about 5 i started seeing spirits. The first was my little brother who passed during birth. my mom said she asked me who i was having a tea party with and i told her that gabriel was sitting across from me and he said hi mommy and that he wasn't scared anymore.  I stopped being able to see them on this plane as often now, but i do hear and get images from them sometimes. Usually though this occurs as i am waking, still in that dreamstate, but conciously aware.

I will try to find a helper tonight.

Any ideas about Salt water crocodiles and orange zest and corriander? i couldn't stop thinking about these phrases for hours after i awoke...........

Hi,

Orange zest and corriander sounds like a lovely combination, but I don't know what it's good for or how it relates to you. I'm going to get those at the grocery store and see if I feel more spiritually in tune or tuned up   Smiley

Same for crocodiles --sorry   Smiley

Thanks Bets,
thank you for picking them up and i do hope they help Smiley I think i may have dreamed about you last night?? Smiley
And the crocs, well I saw some today...... went to the zoo, the tour guy said it just right, just like in my dream, he corrected me and said they live in  salt water....
Maybe this spirit is trying to guide me to make the right choices as well, maybe that is why i feel like they are important to me?  I tried to bring him back to the hotel... he is always outside and doesn't want to go in, so i figure this may be where he needs to go and is just afraid.  Huh
I woke when I asked him to come in with me...
This seems harder than i thought it would be lol Smiley
