A paperback version of "Occult America: White House Seances, Ouija Circles, Masons, and the Secret Mystic History of our Nation" is out.

It's called fascinating by history filmmaker Ken Burns and by the Huffington Post. Deepak Chopra found it extraordinary.

However its survey ends in early 1970's so Monroe, TMI etc aren't mentionned. But such European roots and influences as Sweden-bourg and Kelpius are treated.
