Where is my beloved cat?
Apr 10th, 2010 at 6:40pm

So yeah regarding my dear cat which was like a brother to me... where is he?

Edit: The only reason I am asking is because I can't do jack. I have failed in every psychic attempt I have ever made in my life. I love him so much and I feel so empty and alone. I feel like I made all the wrong choices and I feel like I killed him.

To be honest I am probably at fault here even though I don't wish to be. I was not ready for his death. I was keeping him alive as long as I could. I don't think he was ready either. I don't think he has really left me. I don't think he can. I don't think I can let him go. We are joined, so close. Closer probably than I can even explain. Part of me is dead.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I hope it may comfort you a little if I tell you of my own experiences. . . .  I have also had to take the terrible decision to have a 2 cats "put to sleep" over the years - the first one, my little Shakti,  was my soul mate.  Her hind legs had become useless due to spinal degeneration & the Vet insisted she had no quality of life & was in pain. I miss her to this day.  But as I  drove away with her still-warm body, I heard a distinct "mew" - unbelieving, I unwrapped her thinking she had perhaps come back, but she had not.  Later,  as I placed her on the couch, where I was going to leave her until the next day when I would bury her body, again I heard her distinctive mew.  I did not see her, but as I cried myself to sleep that night I felt a distinct warmth, a presence, & a spreading sense of comfort from some source.

I have seen her in the astral, & also seen & met other animals, some still alive on the earth plane, playing together.  Recently I romped in the astral real-time with my still -living old dog & several strange rabbits in the front yard; I remarked how they could communicate with me & my dog rather scornfully replied, "Of course!"  I was chastened & also amused at my own surprise.

Animals definitely survive the transititon, same as we do - why would they not?  The day my little dachshund was killed I was meditating in bed, & distinctly saw him rest his head on the futon matress & gaze up at me with such love & affection. . . . at which time his body was dying in the street.  He had got out & been run over by a speeding truck, as I discovered later.

Please do take comfort in the fact that your dear cat friend is happy, light, free & probably playing in the field of green grass dotted with yellow flowers, where I have seen my little dog frolicking.

As my mother lay dying, she excitedly pointed to something we could not see, saying, "Look at that lovely little ginger kitten over there!"  I am sure it had come to see her over. . . . . as I feel sure your cat will do for you one day.

I think the hardest part is not the death of our animal friends, but our part in deciding it.  I am convinced that if you speak mentally to your fried, he will hear & understand that you did what you believed was best for him, out of love.

All the best to you

I apreciate your post... thank you.. it is hard and I understand others have also had to deal with this.

However.

Please disregard this topic. I know where my cat is. He is in a gaudy box. Inside are ashes and chopped up bones, some of the bones have blood stains. Upon the box is my tears as I hold the box to my head as I fall upon the ground.

My cat is gone.
Someday I will be the same as him. Unless I go with being cryogenic-ally frozen that is.

That's like saying the sun is gone, when it sets & we don't see it any longer. What's in the box is as you describe - but that's not your Cat.

I agree 100 percent with this, Kirolak. We could stare at dead bodies all day and all night long and not find our loved ones nor the afterlife there. When a person has left their body, or any creature has done so, we can study the remains here, but that doesn't lead us to the reunion we hope for. The reunion we hope for occurs in our hearts, because the 'dead' are everpresent. They do not die. We may study all the religions of the world, and we may then reject them all, but all the while our loved ones are everpresent. It really doesn't matter that much to them. In my view, they are waiting for our silence, for a moment off guard, and, in the end, with respect, for us, finally. They know how hard it is, and how joyful it can be here too. They know better than anyone. I think the dead are anywhere and everywhere, but they don't want us to worship them, or cry too much over them. They just move on, and one day we will too.

If my cat is alive in the afterlife I am probably driving him nuts.

SO.... where is my cat most likely? I can almost guarantee my cat would come through if I talked with a medium. Is he happily on the other side and hey met my other loved ones? Is he lounging around on some really warm computer moniter in the  afterlife (cause moniters produce a lot of nice heat cats love... //// salem loved.)

I'm not sure, Starcraft, but I will say that my intuition tells me he is still around. Remember how I told you about the black cat I saw from my balcony, seeing it as a sign for you? Well, I am presently visiting some relatives in another state. These relatives live in a 'gated' community, for the upper middle class folks around here. These relatives are not 'cat' people, and this is a rather 'pristine' area. For the first time, ever, I was told there is a black cat, a 'stray', who has been hanging around the house. I haven't seen this cat yet, but I've heard it's here. The first thing I thought, a couple of days ago when I heard of this, was of Salem. You see, what are the 'odds' of a black cat appearing 'on schedule' at both of these residences, one where I live, and one where I visit? I tend to 'read' information this way, from my life, and I am not always accurate. But, Salem, I think, is trying to tell you that he is doing okay. He's having some adventures along the way. When he finds the 'right' place, he may come back here, who knows? I don't want to speculate, because I don't 'know' Salem the way you do. But, all I can say is, Salem still seems to be around.

Starcraft,

I believe that animals do transition to the other side.

My wife Elaine died about 3 years ago, and her dog, a black Lab, died about a year later.

Not long ago I was talking to a guy who is a medium. He didn't know me or anything about me and my family; he didn't know who was dead, etc., but one of the first things he came up with was, "There is a woman here with a black Lab, and she wants you to know they're doing great.  Do you know anyone named Elaine? I think that's her name."

That's just my two bits. Your cat was a big part of your life, and with that focus I'm sure you'll see him again.

Onwards and inwards, Hawk
