I'm planning a trip soon where I hope to have time to myself to read and contemplate.  I'll be taking Bruce's Guidebook and CDs along with the Gateway Experience CDs.  But I would like to know what members of this forum would suggest for a reading list once one has read the three Bob Monroe books and all of Bruce's books.  I want to work on actual experience, of course, but I'm a left brain analytical sort, so I want to keep reading as well.  Thanks for your suggestions.

Mainly nonfiction, unless someone knows of some great fiction based on after-life knowledge.

I haven't decided whether I'll take my laptop or not.   I don't think the place I'll have the most time alone has internet connectivity yet, unless it's happened in the last few years.  It's Ojo Caliente, a hot springs resort in northern New Mexico north of Santa Fe, essentially in the middle of nowhere, civilization-wise.  Though the Indians came there for centuries before we "civilized" folks discovered it.

I guess I'm mainly interested in how it all fits together, i.e. expanded consciousness explorations, OBE, the universe, the future, etc.  But I'll certainly look at this list for interesting stuff.

Spooky, excellent suggestion!!  I will take it to heart.  Where I will be for several days on my trip is a mineral springs where the Native Americans came to "take the waters" hundreds of years ago.  A magical place in my view.
