Interested in Retrieval Feedback
Jul 8th, 2009 at 12:55pm

As some background, I am new to the concept of retrievals.  I have been using Holosync for four years and recently added a Hemi-Sync Metamusic CD, and meditate daily using Eastern Indian methods. I am awaiting my copy of Bruce's book, Afterlife Knowledge.

I have attempted some potential retrievals utilizing imagination as Bruce suggests with three people that passed suddenly in my life. I do not know if they were stuck for sure, but since they had a quick passing, I felt there was a potential.

If anyone would like to verify this and attempt contact, here are their three names:

Vera Walker, passed October 24, 2008
Chris Perry, passed January 25, 2009
Casey Aaron Crespo, passed October 20, 1996

I appreciate any feedback and information you may have on the three as I learn the process myself. Thanks.

Awww, I was hoping for more feedback. I will relate my "experience" in my attempted contact/retrievals later today in case anyone is interested.   But I hesitate as I don't want to influence anyone else's experiences prior to their reporting.

goobygirl, I know with me I find it quite difficult to tune in to other I dont know. Not always but usually I need some kind of emotional connection to the person having passed. An example is with MJ. As I had an emotional connection with his music I found it fairly easy to connect at least in part with his energy. Family members, friends, and myself have been far easier for me. I cant speak for anyone else here but that's how it works for me. These were people you know personally. Here is what I would do if I were you. Take a look for yourself. Go sit or lie down and relax. Make sure you not going to be disturbed. Then tell yourself what you want to do. Communicate with them or find out how or where they are. Make the decision, and make the intention that you will do just that. Then relax and see what comes to you. If you just happen to think something sometimes you can use your imagine to keep it moving along. You will be surprised what comes to you, but don't be surprised if you don't understand everything you see or think.Communication from there to here or from here to there is complex sometimes and takes time to learn in many cases. No always as some people just have the knack. Write it down and take a look later at what you wrote can sometimes help. Then when Bruces book comes, give it a good read and see how you feel about what it says. Just go from there. Just by you asking shows an interest. I think you will be back to tell us some more. Good luck.

Hi G-G !

Welcome !

We do need some more people interested in both retrieving and in helping others wh have yet to get involved in it. It does take some time and energy (at least for me it does--some say they are energized by it.) Your request came during a busy time for me-- I regret I'm not available to help.

Your loved ones will be available when you contact them.  It's one of the mysteries of non-physical life that they can be in more than one place/ state at a time. Even physical souls such as Bruce have documented they can 'bi- locate.'

So welcome to the wonders of the afterlife!  It's so much better experiencing it yourself than having someone tell you about it  Smiley

Bets

I expect you'll find contact with the afterlife is amazing and fulfilling!

Hi,

Wasn't there a movie called The Goodbye Girl?   Smiley

I am interested in hearing what you got during your retrievals/contacts.  But I'm not interested in trying to contact your loved ones.  I agree with Hawkeye, it's hard for me too to not utilize my emotional thread.  I would like to learn to do it the way Bruce teaches, simply think the person's name with the intent for contact.  I'm trying to enhance my skills.

Yes, there was a movie, but you made a  common dyslexic error! I'm "GOOBYGIRL" not "GOODBYE GIRL." LOL. Gooby is a nickname I picked up when my mother bought me a football jersey from a yard sale when I was a kid. GOOBY was on the back. Don't know Gooby, but whomever he was, I've adapted myself to the name...lol.

Vera Walker is my grandmother. She had just turned 86 years old and was spending the day at my house with what we thought was the flu. We took her to the doctor because she was feeling nauseous and he diagnosed her with food poisoning. Within hours we were at the emergency room with a burst abdominal aneurysm. She passed that day.

I contacted grandma by imagining her kitchen where we spent a lot of time drinking coffee, eating cookies and chatting. I asked my grandpa to come visit us (he passed in 1993) and (re) introduced the two. I told grandma that I loved her very much and that she had passed quickly. I gave grandpa some iced tea since he always liked iced tea. Grandpa was very relaxed and jovial and grandma was as she had always been, chatty and busy.

I told her that grandpa was going to take her to see some family and friends and would she like to go see them? I thanked grandpa and he took her hand. She had no hesitation, and we walked out the front of her house. I imagined her walking down her road into a white light.

The other attempted retrieval was with a friend of mine, Chris Perry. I really didn't know Chris' passed family members well, Chris and I were more of casual buddies who hung out at a local watering hole and played trivia. He was the number one point scorer and had over 12 million lifetime points playing NTN! In January, he was found in his shower, unconscious. He was taken to ICU and put on all kinds of machines and remained unconscious. I visited Chris in the hospital the night before they were to unplug the machines and sat with him. I talked to him and laughed and told him he had really gotten himself into a mess "this time." (The year before he had torn his leg up playing softball and had to have major surgery to repair the leg).

In my retrieval imagination, I met him at the local bar. I told him it was nice to see him again. He sat at the bar with his beer, cigs, and favorite mug watching the screen and playing trivia. I told him that I really cared for him and that I wanted him to see some friends. He had grown up raising and showing prize goats, and I put a picture of goats in my mind, since I didn't know whom to exactly to picture! We played a few rounds of trivia, me looking at him sideways since we always sat side by side I was most often looking at his profile than his face, lol.

After a while I asked him if he was ready, and we walked out the door of the bar and into the street, again I let him walk into the light. I asked for helpers to take him, since I had no one else to imagine that would.

The last imagined retrieval was with Casey. Casey was my 16 year old brother who died suddenly in a car accident. I  imagined meeting him at my mother's house in the kitchen. I asked my two grandfathers to come meet us and they met us, hugging my brother. They had both died when he was 13.  I thanked them for coming, gave my brother a soda and my grandfathers coffee. I talked to my brother a little about how he always was a daredevil and reminded him of the time when he rollerbladed off my mother's roof (on video, no less) and we laughed. I told him there were friends and family for him to go see. I thought of our passed family members and gave him that picture in our mind. I thanked my grandfathers for coming and let them take him out the front door and into the street down through the light.

In my attempted retrievals, I did not see helpers and started retrieving after doing a short meditation period. I didn't really know if any of these people were actually "stuck," but knew they all had unexpected, very quick, emotional passings. So, I figure, no harm no foul, I'll try and at least they know I tried to help, even if they didn't need it.

Thanks for reading!

Grin

Now that you pointed it out, I can see my error in spelling!  And yes I do have dyslexia and it drives me nuts.  I can't believe I can make a mistake and not SEE it.

Anyway, I'm impressed with your retrievals.  You obviously have great skill in using your imagination and thinking on your feet.  I am impressed because I tend to feel flustered, as if "Well what do I do now?" and that sort of thing.  So for me, preparation and planning is needed, and I do well utilizing my creative sense of visualization which helps me feel part of the scene, which is a good distraction to doubt.

That's why I really like the imagination method because no matter what you imagine, you are creating a scene filled with love and intention and all the things you "require" for what your purpose is there.  Anything else you experience there that seems to "just happen" is the stuff that begins to hinge on what Bruce calls the gray area between what's real and what's pretend.

What you have here, whether you can verify any of it to your own satifaction or not, is great ground work you've cut out for yourself.  Great practice and great results!

It would be interesting if anyone attempts to verify anything for you and has some results to share.

Vicky

Good job Gooby. I knew you could do this all by yourself and without the need of our help. Sometimes your "ticket to ride" is right there in your hands. Your love for these "loved ones" has worked out well for them. Now that you have assisted them and/in let/letting go, they will move on to far bigger, and far better things than some old attachment to the physical. You should be proud of yourself, and happy for them. Keep it up. There are many other who need a helping hand in movement, and far to few of us out there helping. I believe that by helping these loved ones you have opened up the door for yourself to move spiritually even further. Even though I don't know you, I am forever in dept for your helping.

Thanks for the support, guys! A lot of people see my nickname and think it says "GoodBye Girl," so don't despair.

Even if all is imagined, I think that "letting go" of my loved ones is healing for me as well.
