Plane crash
Apr 25th, 2009 at 10:43am

Lately I have been finding it next to impossible to get into any of the places needed to do retrievals or anything else of this work. For some reason, I don't know why, seem to be very focused on my day to day life. Guess that happens.

When the plane crash in Buffalo happened and that plane crashed into the houses there, I tried to get in to do some retrievals and just couldn't do it. Same with Aquila earthquake. OK, I left it alone.

One day just after it happened, my (deceased) daughter came to me in my inner eye suddenly and stood in front of the burning plane buried in the houses there, and clearly invited me to assist her in rescuing some souls. I did try to move toward her but somehow couldn't get any momentum up, so gave it up.

The memory of that invitation kept returning and I tried again last night and finally got in.

A number of people, women and a couple of children, appeared out of the flames and smoke and I saw several "rescuers" they were called off to the right, and guided each person to them. There was one woman with grey hair, nicely groomed lady, who looked Jewish, a baby (were there any babies on that flight?? I can't recall hearing of any) and a child, and a couple of other women. There was one woman who stood out dramatically. She came through as completely white, her entire self was white, I wondered if she was a guide in fact...but she had a quite intimidating experession on her face, from fear or disapproval, I didn't know which, and I did approach her. For some reason, I can't remember the details of all this, sorry, but thought I would post it just because it's so odd how I couldn't get in for the past few weeks. What is that anyway?

I notice the Board is quiet right now, maybe I am not the only one.

Hi Vee, I, too, have more difficulties in doing retrievals than earlier. When I started it in 2004, I had very many retrieval-experiences in a short time, but it decreased over the time. I don't know why. One possible explanation is, there was something I had to learn, and now I've learnt it. There isn't the feeling of urge to do it anymore which I felt some years before. Possibly there are cycles of awareness for everybody, at one point of your life the awareness shifts to a specific place, and in a different point of your life the awareness shifts to another place.

HI Spooky, thanks for that comment. That was encouraging. Funnily enough, I was just reading a Gregg Braden book yesterday and he said in one place, that when we first learn a new thing (like retrievals I guess as an example) we are really on it like a fly on jam.

Then gradually there comes in its place a pleasant acceptance that the world is as it should be and it's fine without us changing it. This (strange I think) awareness tends to make us not perform so often as we did at first.

I forget what he was talking about specifically but when I read it I realized that this is exactly what it feels like. I go to offer myself for some retrievals and I sort of just hang back and don't participate. This doesn't make me happy, I think I need to give my head a shake.

I remember Patrick on the tape the we got at the Gateway experience, how scared he was, and I think probably I need to get down to business again. I dunno though...maybe things really are changing and there aren't so many. Who knows. Vee

Hi Vee & Spooky,

I had a conversation the other day with Tom Campbell about this and here is a reply I got about retrievals.  I hope it helps.

These are training and evaluation exercises. You are being readied for something else. Put your whole being into them, take them very seriously and execute them well – fearlessly and with right choices driven by right intent. After you perform well in this set of exercises there may be other exercises of a different nature -- this may go on quite a while. When you are ready they will stop, and what you are being prepared for will begin

Thank you Toby, I sure appreciate that helpful comment! I will indeed get back to work, it would be nice to think I was being readied for something...at 65, there is a tendency to think that won't happen any more...at least in this world. Vee

Hi Vee,

From my understanding, the average learning for the majority of adults at around 40 starts to dramatically slow down and this is by their choice and ego of thinking they know it all and just kind of float through the 2nd half of there existence in this PMR 'physical material reality'.... In fact at around 40 is when your learning really starts to speed up for your spiritual advancement and transition to the Non Physical .

Have a great day.

Thanks Toby, that's good to hear. I am thinking about this a lot these days, as you say, it's easy to just slide down and move away from new things. I have Bruce's Guidebook and haven't ever finished the exercises in it, that's a starting place for a fresh beginning for me. Vee

Bets just sent me an email Forward which informed me of the amazing fact that :

Oak trees do not produce acorns until they are fifty (50) years of age or older...which is right on topic for the above two posts!!

It also informed me of this important fact, which is off topic, hope I don't get in trouble for including this...

Dentists have recommended that a toothbrush be kept at least six (6) feet away from a toilet to avoid airborne particles resulting from the flush.

(I keep my toothbrush in the living room now !)

Yes Vee, I've had the same thoughts as Braden had, and, Toby, like Campbell had. It's only, when you experienced something new, it's so interesting and important, and when it becomes routine, and interest decreases, you're longing for something to replace the old subject of interest, and when there's nothing in view, life can become boring again and that hurts. But I think once been in the retrieval business, it opens you up for something new, it just doesn't come like in an action movie  Smiley . Every lesson is different.

But oh yes, Vee, I do remember the Patrick tape (it's Rosalind McKnight who was the channel, weren't it?). It's really impressing. Good to go back to that and then decide whether it's time to do a retrieval or not. It may be, though, that we're doing it anyway, only beyond our physical awareness, and performing retrievals would be nothing else than simply becoming conscious of it, which of course is not nothing. It's grounding, becoming aware of your full spirit here in the physical. But I think our physical awareness is limited and cannot process ALL the things we are and do.

And about learning and age I remember a quote from Plato: "When the physical eyelight becomes weaker, the mind's eyelight becomes sharper."

Thanks Spooky. A lot of times, the failure to participate in these helping tasks is down to life being too crazy. Then we are so relieved when things settle down again we need a little time to ourselves to decompress. My life is settling down in a nice way I've never known before. I suspect that as that continues, doing psychic and metaphysical activities will find their own routine place in my day to day stuff, since it is one of my most primary interests.

I used also to do holographic readings and tarot readings, that all went by the wayside too. Maybe there will be a place for that too, since I love it so much. Sometimes when things are too frenetic and hard to handle, we freeze up like cement inside and stop breathing and stop "inner life" activities.

Anyway, I guess that's enough of that...thanks to all of you for your enlightening comments, so nice that you are interested and caring. Vee
