Hi everyone! I’ve been lurking for several weeks and I've finally decided to join. I’ve read Bruce’s books, plus several others, and I’m progressing through the Gateway series and just getting started on Wave II.

Although I’m fairly “seasoned”, I’m not quite ready yet for retirement. I was very interested in spirituality and personal exploration about 35-40 years ago, including a stint with an infamous Eastern cult, but then life happened and work intruded. I’m at a point now where I’m excited about revisiting my youthful curiosity and I feel I’ve just about come full circle.

Although I'm not new at meditating, a handful of lucid dreams is about the extent of my experiences - but I’m anxious to learn and to explore. Thanks to all the knowledge on this board, I hope my progress along the path will be rewarding.

Welcome Summersolstice!

Smiley  Your description of where you are at reminds me of myself a few years ago. I was amazed then that reading Bruce's books and following the guidebook exercises could bring random, and previously sometimes frightening, experiences into control to the point where I actually seek out more!
I expect your involvement will be fully as rewarding and intriguing!

Enjoy, and please communicate regarding any aspects you deem interesting!  Smiley Smiley

The TMI tapes and Bruces methods are a very good starting point for meditation. Even if not something spectacular happens, it still will have positive results I guess. At least it will give you an outlook for what is possible once you find that this physical life is just, well, physical life, and not even that, it's all in your mind. Isn't it  Wink ?
