author looking for retrieval
Dec 4th, 2008 at 12:36pm

I am writing a book about my search to find my my mother and father, who died in January. I took Gateway at Monroe in February and the trainer told me he couldn't locate her, making me wonder if she got stuck somewhere. Yesterday I had a long and wonderful interview with Bruce. He suggested I post here.

Is there anyone who might be willing to look for either my mother or father?

Also, Bruce told me that he encourages people to gather verifiable   information during retrievals. I'd like to hear from anyone who has had that kind of experience.

One of the points of this book is to find concrete, verifiable evidence about what happens after we die. And I've still got some questions for my parents that I'd like to resolve.
thank you

Hi, it does not mean necessarily that she is stuck, simply because another retriever was unable to get something.
If this happened a year ago, it seems you would have had a dream whereby she attempted communication.
have you dreamed? Sometimes we dream and then forget the dream when there is info in the dream to lead us to more info.

I suggest you persist. To send your thoughts to her. messengers will deliver the message. when she is able she will come, most likely with a guide to help her communicate.
It is sometimes difficult to rend the veil but persistence is best.

I would offer my services however, most times I do, the folks find what I did receive to be unusable to them, or quite not what they expected and so disbelievable.
I only give out what I receive as I saw it. I have been able to help a few though with some details.
what happens is images. they come quite easily and so I want others to see their own images and how easy it is to do. people are far more influenced by their own images received.

I suspect that book shall not get written until you do it! my best to you and be persistent. never give up. love, alysia

thanks for the reply. i'd love to hear what you-- or anyone else out there -- sees regarding my mother or father.

as research for the book, i'm planning trips to casadaga,  the spiritualist community in florida; virginia beach to  the edgar cayce folks, and tuscon to talk to the university profs there that study this sort of thing. any other places you might suggest i go to interview mediums, psychics or scholars in this field? i'll be filming as well, for a documentary.

as for persistence, i'm nothing if not that. kind of the definition of a journalist. the question is, which came first -- the career or my personality.

thanks

Hi there,

I've been giving it a try.  So far I haven't gotten anything.  But I want to try again.  I am not as experienced so I need to practice a little.   I'll post here whatever I get.

I've tried it and will try again and then tell you JJ.

I strongly recommend to not post the results here in the public forum for now to maintain the most possible independence of each report and avoid bias.

Spooky,

Thanks for your response. If you prefer, you can email me what you find, rather than post. I appreciate it.

Of course I will post it here. And if anyone's interested I can post my results as I go along.

If anyone has any suggestions about possible interview subjects, I'd love to hear.

I am planning a trip to Arizona to interview Gary Schwartz, the U of A scientist who studies this, along with the Windridge folks. I've already interviewed Bruce, who was terrific and so generous with his time. What a great guy, huh?

I'm set to interview the host of Skeptiko (a pod cast that deals with these kinds of topics -- not skeptico, that's a site that tries to disprove -- though I will also be talking to skeptics).

And I interviewed a psychic listed on Alison Dubois's website. No comment yet on that.

So suggestions please! Websites, people, etc.

I'm planning to film the in-person interviews so readers can see and along with what happened. It's a new multi-media world out there!

Best and again, thanks for your help,
Jody
