departed pet
Dec 2nd, 2008 at 2:02pm

Hi, I have been visiting here on and off for a few years now after reading Robert Monroe's and Bruce Moen's books and trying meditaion techniques with little success.

Today we had to say goodbye to our cat today at 9:10am, he was a stray that moved in with us 4 years ago and showed us the meaning of pure unconditional love. we miss him dearly. although I am aware that it may be too soon to know, but I am concerned that he doesn't know anyone who has passed before and may be lost or lonely.

I haven't been able to master any methods to explore other C levels, but hope that someone could let me know that he is ok and arrived safely, also to pass our love onto him, we will be with reunited soon.

Many thanks.
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I'd like to encourage you to visit your cat in your mind. Put aside thoughts of "how to" and such, and just imagine you would visit your cat wherever he is now. Imagine to greet him, to pet him, to watch what he's doing. Take your time. Don't think about whether it's real or not, you can do that later. Just go along with it, and pretend it's real for now.

After that, you can think about it. How "real" it was. About what you felt. You could immediately write it down, this will enhance your awareness of the fact you actually had this experience.

Don't think grown up people "don't do this". They should! It works. I felt relieved when I did it with my own passed-over cats. They show up sometimes in my dreams, even after some decades since they died. One dream was so intense that I, in waking state, petted my nonphysical but still "there" cat.

Thanks, I am trying but cant seem to focus on anything at the moment, maybe due to the stress of the situation. he was such a big character and one that will be sorely missed.

Also, I am having a hard time trying to validate what I see in my minds eye. I was hoping that someone else could assist in getting a message to him and help him on his way in case I fail.

No problem--KP--.

I just sent out the thought to my deceased brother, Bobby and all my deceased pets to find KP1969's beautiful pet cat.  My brother loved animals, and will pick up your "kitty" friend and extend his PUL to it's spirit. Kitty (tiger!!) is not alone. All my former pets will gather around my brother and your cat and welcome him. They will certainally make sure that your wonderful, loving pet will have pleanty of company and play friends.  I see a shiney silver collar waiting for your cat that sparkles so brightly that it appears as it is made of the glow of stars. And kitty is laughing and purring with delight.  Wink

He will wait for you and greet you when you make your crossing and will continue to send you his pure unconditional love until your next meeting.

Love and Light-- Carol Ann

Thanks for your kind words identicat. I will keep trying to see him. any verification that a message has got through would be great if possible.

I am not sure if he would take to the collar as we never made him wear one, as being an ex stray he wast used to it. we just gave him run of the house and the land to try and give him comfort and security during his time with us.

If I could turn back time I would in an instant.

KP--- he could always use the colar like a halo!! Roll Eyes

I will kept him in my thoughts when I meditate. If I get anything, I'll let you know. Right now I'm only "seeing" two of my deceased black cats, Onyx and Batman, purring around and rubbing up against someones leg.  I'll also try to contact my brother.  Lots of kitty love to you and yours--- cat!

Hi Identicat, thanks for replying again.

I am very grateful for your help in this. its coming up for a week since we had to part now and the place is feeling so empty.

I havent seen him in my dreams and hope he is ok right now. Its a horrible thing having to say goodbye to a loved one, whenever you imagine the future they are always with you. for now the future seems to be on hold.

Thanks again for all of your help.

I love hearing how much we love our pets.   Smiley

I've had three special cats at different times in the past, all of whom had been able to contact me after death.  But even if we don't feel the connection, I have to believe that even though we can't always get the kind of contact or verification that we want, our love and thoughts still go out to the person (or pet) we are sending them to.

Spooky's advice is great advice and a good reminder.  I sometimes tend to forget to just do it without thinking too much.  Just go along with your feelings and let them flow, that's all that's needed sometimes.  I think verification is very important, but if you let yourself get stuck because of it, then you won't progress with your intention.  You need to believe your loving thoughts are reaching your cat, and then they will and you will surely get some verification of that at some point, even if it's not when and how you expect it.

Your cat is not alone somewhere but is surely greeted by other pets.  I fully believe that.

Love,
Vicky

I went ahead and sent a personal message to Kevin about his departed cat. I did my first deliberate pet retrieval and received confirmation about it.

If Kevin would like to share with the forum--- he has my permission. Love to All--- cat

Hi, firstly i would like to thank Cat for taking the time to try this for me. I cannot thank you enough.

I will add comments at the bottom that will make more sense about the validation of the retrieval.

------------------------------------------------------------------
When meditating on the name Archie, : I saw two cats. The first was a long haired, large cat with a round face, Light in color. The second cat was a slinky tiger with dark strips (I think I saw black and grey). One cat is the companion to the other and visa-versa. Then I saw the cats clawing a tree with glee. The tree was "purring" with delight for the back scratch. Next, the cats ran ahead and saw feathers on sticks, and started to play with the feathers.  The cats left the feathers and jumped onto a very soft, silk covered pillow. The pillow just sunk in as the cats bounced up and down in delight. I also saw the cats run up to legs (appeared to be male) and kept rubbing against the leg.

One name that came up was Dan.  Then I heard one of the felines say that everything is wonderful. I'm with Ma now and Auntie is here too.  (that could be deceased feline family). Archie is also saying that his tummy is full all the time now and he doesn't have to drink so much water.  When he looks up toward me, I see your reflection in his eyes. He loved you very much.  He said not to worry about the golden color that he is now wearing, as it feels like nothing at all around his neck.  He is laughing, because one time you must have tried to put a flea collar around his neck and I see him backing up, away from the collar and saying, no way!" Then he scrambled off like a jet!.

I also see a lump on one of the cats. I think it is on the tiger cat and it appears to be towad the (right??) hine leg up near the hip.  If you have had more than one cat in your life, I could be getting them, also.

When I go to sleep tonight, I will repeat Archie's name seveal times. Then, If I get anything else, I will let you know.  If neither of these cats I am "seeing" now are yours, then be assured that Archie is sending them through to let you know he's not alone. The next thing I get is that now He can fly like the birds, too.
------------------------------------------------------------------

Archie was a brown and black stripey and slinky tiger cat.
One day he followed my Girlfriend home, it turned out that his last owner had moved away and he had been left ( as far as we know ). we tried to locate his last owner but just given an indication from the vets that we should take him in as our own.
He used to drink a lot of water, and I mean a lot! As soon as anyone was in the bathroom you would hear him jump clumsily into the bath and wait for the tap to be turned on.
Archie was always hungry as well and had problems keeping some food down. we never truly found out the reason behind it. After seeing a vet a few years ago they told us this is common with stray cats and there was nothing we could do for him.
He also had a bad back right leg, it turned out that there was a pin in it indicating that he had probably been in an accident before we knew him.

I can say that the information Cat gave me was amazing, the description of symptoms were spot on!

Thanks again for all of your help, I am glad he has found his way and is happy. We will always love him and look forward to joining him at a later date!

That's wonderful,
Carolyn and Kevin!

Thank you both so much for sharing your search. What a great way to start the new year--with hope borrowed from your experience that we can also find our conections in the afterlife !  Smiley

Thanks for sharing my message, Kevin.  And don't get confused--- ther are two Carolyn's on this blog and I'm Carol Ann. I told bets that it was perfectly okay to call me Carolyn--- it's her pet name for me!!

My grandchildren call me GiGi. I never had a nickname-- so it's wonderful to have all these new names with love.

I'm sure that my deceased brother, Bobby will take wonderful care of Archie.  Love to All--- Carol Ann (aka cat)

I've had many cats and not one of them had this quirk to drink much water. Big hit!

I was, and still am gobsmacked at the accuracy of the information returned to me.

All Identicat had to go on was my first name and Archie's first name and the fact that he was a cat.

She has inspired me to try again to make contact, although I tend to be over-analytical of my own experiences which tends to lead me to doubt.

I don't have Bruce's latest book, they are quite difficult to locate in the UK ( Bruce, any chance of adding a Paypal option for purchasing your books as I tend to steer away from credit cards and stick to debit cards where possible. )

Anything anyone can recommend that could help me explore the afterlife would be greatly appreciated. I have only managed one lucid dream type situation where I saw my father shortly after he passed. I haven't managed to make contact since.

Take care all, and thanks again!

I did send you my book via email. Guess it didn't go through. I will try again. Don't delete identcat from your personal email.  You make me laugh!  Getting daft in your "old" age. Cheeeee--- wait-- it gets worse as you hit 60!!! I'll bet even Archie is grinning over that one.  Hugs-- cat

I should mention the time I arrived at work and found that I had managed to put on a jumper back to front. I wondered why people were looking at me strangely...

We have recently changed nameservers, I will pm you my email address that I know is live.
