my dad
Nov 23rd, 2008 at 7:58pm

hi everyone -

My dad passed away saturday morning at around 3 a.m. He was 88 and had declined rapidly over the past couple of days.

My mother died twelve years ago. As what we believe was a coping mechanism, my dad created a negative story about my mom that made him very angry. As a result, he has not wanted to talk about her for several years now.

I am somewhat concerned about my dad's passing and am wondering if someone wouldn't mind checking in on him. I'd like to know who he is with and if there is any sense that he and mom have been reunited. His name is Peter, my mom's name is Nancy.

Thank you so much. This is a sad time for our family, so anything you might be able to sense would be greatly appreciate.

much love -
Robin

Greetings,

My condolences, Robin.

My dad passed away on the 11th, so I know that even when that person is older and we think we might be prepared, these life transitions are difficult for family members.

It's still a bit soon to be trying to contact a recently deceased person. They have processes they have to go through to get used to the non-physical.

Please don't worry about your parents. Usually the souls' loved ones are with them to help them with their transition.  If your mother is not one of those, your father will have others from his afterlife 'Disk' family to aid him. Your mother is also with loved ones. If their troubles together do not dissolve away  when some of their physical burdens are lifted, then they will most likely find themselves working it out in some future lifetime --that's the system we've found when we have made contact and it's described in the more mistical world religions.

From my point of view, maybe another reason you're not getting volunteers to help with this is that lately so many people have come here with requests and so few have been interested in learning these skills for themselves, that some of us have become sort of 'burned out.'
When a stranger such as myself makes these contacts two things often happen:  we don't get all the information the requester was hoping for, and the requester never gets the amazing experience of moving into the afterlife for themselves.

Maybe someone has contacted you by Personal Message; if so, I apologize for saying unnecessary things.  But if not, I think its because this site was established to get more people involved in 'bridging the gap.' Anyone can do that, and Bruce Moen's methods are the best I've found.

Hi Betson - thank you so much for your reply.

This is the only reply I've received. You're right, though. I kind of knew going into this post that I am yet another one of those people asking for help rather than being more patient with my own learning curve. I must admit that I haven't been as diligent in my practice as I should be. I have tried to focus my thoughts in the way that Bruce has prescribed, but I find myself wandering and not being able to achieve results. I know it takes time, and I don't practice as much as I should.

Your insights are comforting, and I appreciate them.

Robin

Dear Robin,

You needn't be hard on yourself about this -- You just went through some very major changes that require your spirit to see life in new ways !
You probably took on your father's burden toward your mother as a problem for you to solve.  It is not. Their relationship started way before you and then he apparently kept secret its effects until too late (after her death) for them to make amends. That's their involvement, and they'll get it worked out somehow.

Probably soon you'll be more 'available' for looking into the afterlife yourself.  If you have Bruce's books, skip around abit and pick out  his experiences that you can relate to more easily. Then they'll be in mind when you need them. Even having a reading time at the same of day will help cut down the mental wandering.  Smiley

Please keep in touch. Usually the answers here will  carry you further into your quest and not seem like such a brick wall as my first post here seems.   Huh   Smiley

Bird, hi, just noticed this.

I'm getting a "Yes" from spirit on your dad.  he's transitioned fairly smoothly as old folks often do, their ties to physical plane life having been exhausted, and was met by one or both of his parents (with guides hanging about in the background).  has been reintroduced to his wife, but quickly settled in to some kind of bedrest situation, either in an astral plane nursing home or a room in his parent's astral plane house; can't quite tell.
Nancy will be brought to see Peter as he recuperates and their issues will just melt away as he forgets why he was mad in the first place.

best wishes, gordon phinn

Gordon -

Thank you SO much for checking in on my dad. I had a feeling that he may be recuperating, and I'm glad to hear he is in good hands. Did you happen to "see" him? I'm curious what he looked like to you.

My sister brought to my attention that you have written a book, and I am looking forward to checking it out.

You are welcome , Robin.
I was not given a vision per se, more a "rote" of information.  I asked for more vision just now, and was given the sight of an old person sleeping in a bed.  He won't look old for too long, they usually don't.

Worry not!  he'll be fine with a little astral rest.
