Challenging Dogmatism in Science

This is a link to the channel of "The Scientific and Medical Network",where the six videos of an interview of Dr.Rupert Sheldrake(biologist) and Dr.Peter Fenwick(neuroscientist) can be found. They talk about consciousness, the fundamentalism in science, new atheism and Dawkins, and how materialism is a cultural phenomenon that served specific purposes, but is a limiting dogma ,much like the ones held by religion over the centuries.

In my view(and I've gone through my first academic year in the dept. of Materials being a hardcore materialist)they make some interesting points, and use a language that seems quite free of preconceptions and prejudice.

Worth watching, especially in the age when atheism in America has become almost a new religion.
