yes Thomas,
had a similar urge when Richard Wright of Pink Floyd passed some weeks back. Followed the band all my life and had several obe contacts over the years. Not that they'd recall mind you!
Found him in his (I believe)London home, where I believe he'd passed his last few weeks quietly (news had been suppressed), surprised at being still "alive" and sad that he couldn't seem to communicate with his grieving family. Chatted a bit, tried to ease his puzzlement and pain, told him about other places, and took him on a quick tour, but returned to home and family at his request. Warned him about giving love without getting "attached".
Went back a few days later; still around home and had gone to his own (private) funeral. Still wanted to help with others grieving and frustrated that he couldn't do much. Also amazed at the public outpouring of affection. Suggested he come for another trip and see what there was to see. he came along.
Knowing of his lifelong love of yachting I told him there were places to sail in the afterlife and that some time spent doing that would help ease the pain he felt at other's grief. That perked him up and we soon arrived at a splendid harbour area and I left him there to arrange some sailing.
This, btw, is the sort of guy who would sail round the meditaranean on his own just for fun.
haven't been back since. at least not consciously.

In any case, though I used to require a dark room with no sound (like a CHEK unit at Monroe), I now can make some sort of transition in a few breaths regardless of location. I reclined on the couch in the sunny front room, and in a few breaths I was floating over The Park over there, and when I became more conscious of that experience, I was floating toward the portico that covers the large area in front of the Healing and Rejuvenation Center. I took this to mean that the energy I sought was inside. Indeed it was.
I have been to this place many times, being a healer/medical practitioner in my 3D life. I was led to a large room near the front of the place, and there was the energy I sought, lying on a table and receiving healing and treatment from many light practitioners around him. I saw it like I see such sessions here, a group of his guides and teachers helping a group of others, giving him what looked like a light shower. It filled his etheric body, especially his chest and head....
He did not need retrieval, because he was already home. It is wonderful to know that there are such enlightened ones among us now. God knows, we will need them soon.
