I'm sure if any of us hear or see something, we will report it back to you. 
Your friend may have already heard from her father, and hasn't realize it yet. There will be many signs from him--- a song that he liked, or a smell that will remind her of her dad.  She will very quickly see his face on another person, then it will disappear as quickly as it seemed to appear.  Tell her to let her dad know that she wishes him well on his new jouney and if he can, please show a sign to her that he has heard her.  She will get something soon.
