an experiment in understanding
Aug 19th, 2008 at 1:58pm

Today I was working with some words written by Robert Monroe. I'm not an expert on his explorations, far from it. However, because of my own small collection of "mind explorations" encouraged by his existence here on earth, I am able to find meaning in these very few words that he wrote in this quote. I find, even, that my "mind explorations" affect my reactions to many other thinkers now, so that I am required by my own experiences to revisit my conclusions about everything I see and hear.

So, it is obvious to me that if I look at this passage tomorrow, I will have some other words to use to expand my own understanding of the passage, as I see it, tomorrow. Would that make today's vision null and void? Maybe not.

The passage seems to indicate, and I agree, that all things work together in an inexplicable way. Still, we try to understand.

I would be happy to view/share any interpretations of this passage, anytime.
------------------------------------

the original:

words from Robert Monroe

There is no beginning, there is no end;
There is only Change.
There is no teacher, there is no student;
There is only Remembering.
There is no good, there is no evil;
There is only Expression.
There is no union, there is no sharing;
There is only One.
There is no joy, there is no sadness;
There is only Love.
There is no greater, there is no lesser,
There is only Balance.
There is no stasis, there is no entropy;
There is only Motion.
There is no wakefulness, there is no sleep;
There is only Being.
There is no limit, there is no chance;
There is only a Plan.

----------------------------

my interpretation, today:

There is no beginning, there is no end;
There is only Change.

Linear time does not exist at the Heart of Life.

There is no teacher, there is no student;
There is only Remembering.

There is nothing to "learn" that is not already Known by the Heart.
Reveal, Remember, Renew.

There is no good, there is no evil;
There is only Expression.

When we see with the Mind of Creation, we know that All is Inspired:
an Artist, of Unfettered, Infinite Imagination.

There is no union, there is no sharing;
There is only One.

What we seek in the "Other" is our Whole Self.
Our Whole Self has always Been, is Now, and Always Will Be with us.

There is no joy, there is no sadness;
There is only Love.

The Foundation of Human Emotion is Love,
containing within its Loving Embrace even
Fear of Losing Love.
Love is All There Is.

There is no greater, there is no lesser,
There is only balance.

ONE completes the "Other" and so,
All is One in Perfection.

There is no stasis, there is no entropy;
There is only Motion.

All is in Motion.

There is no wakefulness, there is no sleep;
There is only Being.

The Breath of Life, our Being, always Is.

There is no limit, there is no chance;
There is only a Plan.

The smallest Whisper of the Heart...is Heard.

...  this is not off topic. I've posted this I think 3 times on the main thread, but never get comments to speak of.
yet I thought Monroe puts his words together in such an understandable way for even the novice in these areas. kinda admire that style of writing.

in any case I'm glad u posted it and I'm sure someone else will post it up again. love, alysia

Blink;
This is one of my favorite of RAM
Love it the first time i read it and still love it; I've used it to comfort friend/acquaintance/family members where someone pass on and used it myself at funerals too.
I personally found it so comforting.

Thanks for posting it.
