Jill Bolte Taylor: My stroke of Insight

LINK: http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/jill_bolte_taylor_s_powerful_stroke_of_insigh...

Quote:
Jill Bolte Taylor got a research opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: She had a massive stroke, and watched as her brain functions -- motion, speech, self-awareness –- shut down one by one. An astonishing story.

I cannot remember where I found this video.  What forum I found it on.
I always enjoyed anything from this website named: TED~Ideas Worth Spreading.
If this has already been posted here then accept my apologies.
This is a fascinating story.
It explains our Consciousness from a scientific stand point.
It is a very touching story.

EDIT: I also was having trouble deciding which Sub Forum in which to post this.
I ended up with the Near Death one.
I could have easily put it in the Science Sub Forum as well.

hi there Dood. yes I posted it probably in announcements awhile back, thats where I put all websites and u-tube things of interest here.

however, I'm glad to see the link here, because it's a remarkable footage to come from a former scientific minded person; me thinks she is having a different viewpoint these days!
