Inspirational U-tube; lion hugs a man
Aug 10th, 2008 at 3:59pm

a forum member sent this to me, Nanner, and I thought it appropriate to put here. I have never seen a lion hug a man, the lion almost seems human the way it does this PUL action..
in the background the music is "I will always love you."
enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adYbFQFXG0U

I would like to point out that the hugs include kissing. then watch at the end where the lion's tail is wrapping itself around the men's bodies as they walk away together; an animal's tail doing this is what a common household cat will do, when claiming ownership of it's owner. another expression of PUL. tails are joy indicators as well.

That was AWESOME!!!  Thanks for sharing Alysia and Nanner.   For some reason, i teared up when watching it.

I'm guessing the success of this story is based on how much love they had shared with Christian while he was in their care, combined with the fearlessness, warmth/joy, and love they showed and felt when they went looking for him again.

I bet if they had been feeling a lot of fear, they might have been attacked.

yes I've heard animals can pick up the smell of fear. however these men were told what might happen; I noticed there was a man standing off with a gun to one side, probably just a tranquilizer gun.

just in case. the fact is they were willing to risk getting hurt anyway because of love. the pivotal moment is when the animal is "remembering." he's just staring. his instincts perfectly controlled as he remembers their scent. I teared up too Justin.

the love between animal and man is just incredible to see.

I have another inspiring u-tube here...like to laugh? like to make it a small world after all? this one is a showstopper too.
it's called where the hell is Matt? this funny guy danced his way around the entire planet. Grin
