Betty

It was just a casual request from a friend to "check out" someone who had passed over recently, a woman named Betty. That was all I knew, except that she lived near Charlotte, NC.

I have recently attended Starlines at Monroe Institute, and truthfully am not as inclined to do retrievals because I am exploring so much farther, even beyond what they call Focus 49. It has been very expanding, and is not concerned so much with the Earth Life System (ELS), and the levels that feed and energize those ELS levels, like Focus 27 and the Belief system territories (BSTs).

But it was easy to find Betty. I merely held her name and energetic signature in my mind, and it was like being shunted through wormholes abd hallways to a place in the belief system territories. This was a place I would call "Episcopal Heaven" as it turns out Betty was a devout and serious Episcopalian who expects to meet her maker and stand before him and account for her life. I saw her sitting on an old fashioned Victorian loveseat, knitting. She was a large woman, with a belly laugh, and she laughed when she looked up fromher knitting and saw me.

"Ha! This is an odd place. People keep popping in and out without warning."

I asked her if whe knew where she was, and she told me that she thought she had died. She remembered having Lung Cancer and coughing, and she patted her pack of Kool cigarettes and said she tought they had killed her finally. She said she was feeling much better than she remembered, and that something had held her by the hand and led her here.

"I was at home, and I fell asleep, and when I woke up an angel of light was standing there holding out here hand. I did not even think about it, but stood up and took her hand. The next thing I remember is waking up here, which is, I think, my grandfather's house from when I was really little."

I told her that there was much more, many other places available to her. She did not want to leave without having her chance to defend her life. "I was not a bad person," she kept insisting. I told her that I knew she was actually perfect, and that she was having a bit of trouble seeing that perfection just now. I told her it was that very perfection that would ensure she would get to where she would be able to rejuvenate and heal from her illness. I told her that where she was was not all there is.

Her guide was directly behind her, enfolding her in great wings of light. I think it was her grandfather, but she remained apparently unaware of his presence. She was reluctant to stand, and strangely reluctant to put her knitting down. I told her I would be back tocheck on her, and asked only that she remember that there was much more than it might seem to her.....

And then I went on.

Betty WAS a Kool smoker, who died of lung cancer, a heavy woman known for her laugh and the fact she had knitted so many baby booties and caps and blankets for the local hospital. And she was a lay minister who read and administered communion at the Episcopal church she attended. She had been raised by her grandfather when her parents were killed in a car wreck, on a farm in Kentucky.

And I will go back to check on her......

This is so easy to do. Practice. As Bruce says, "Fake it until you make it" if you need to at first. But give it a try....

Thomas,

Sometimes just helping them to realize they have choices can be the catalyst. Great job. I hope she isn't there when you return but if she is, I know you'll help her move on.... Smiley. She sounds like a person far more interested in helping others. She must miss that.

Much love,

Ginny

Thanks for sharing your retrieval experience with Betty,
dear tgecks!
You speak so clearly and directly that surely some will be encouraged by your approach!

Can you tell us--when you get beyond F27, is there any need for offering service, or does the nature of the experience change to pure exploration/ celebration?
Excuse me for asking if this is something not to be discussed.

Bets

I went back to check on Betty. She is still there, and now quite concerned about her husband, Joe, as he is not handling the loss of his wife well. He is quite lost, and she says he never made many friends. "Most of our friends were my acquaintances, and he was never involved in much outside the house."

She says that she has been visited by others, and that she is aware of "glowing things I think are angels" but she is deliberately turning her attention to comforting Joe. "It has only been a short time that I have been here, I think, but when I connect with him it feels much longer to me, and very heavy." She is still smoking Kools, or the equivalent over there...and she is still knitting on the loveseat.

I will keep checking on her, of course, as I have given her my word to do so.

Yes, I will happily discuss the other realms/levels/Focus levels.... but I think it should be in a separate thread and not in the retrievals list. I will start a new topic on the Afterlife Knowledge list... even though it is not something Bruce has yet.

Interesting, as she talked about how she got there from the physical, and about her bond to the physical/her husband. When I visited places in BST, people never seemed to think about how they got there. I guess this forgetfulness is something long-time residents own, because an awareness of this "travel" from the physical to a place in the BST provides space for further thoughts, such as "Hmm, when I traveled to this place from elsewhere, I should be able to travel from here to another place", so that this would lead finally to move on.

Good verifications!

And now, three weeks or so after she passed over, Betty has moved.

I have checked on her several times, and found her sitting on that sam Victorian loveseat knitting. Her widowed husband has been very upset, I am told, and broke down in church last Sunday and caused quite a scene. SHe was concerned about him, and was reluctant to go on, though she herself used these wrods to me (perhaps it was just my own Interpretor...).

In any case, the loveseat was unoccupied yesterday afternoon. I intended to find where she had gone, and found her in the Healing Center, but not all the way to Focus 27 yet. She was receiving a light shower treatment directed at her chest area. She was in a light envelope and appeared to be asleep, though I could still "hear" her thoughts. She is still concerned about Joe, she said, but thinks by moving on she will facilitate his healing, and then added, "mine, too, of course." She knows she will "see" him again, and said she simply took the hand of her grandfather, and he lad her away from the house to the Healing Center.
