Phillipine Cyclone and Ferry Sinking
Jun 22nd, 2008 at 11:31am

Dear Friends

THough it was not my intention yesterday when I went out of body to do a retreival, I found as I "counted myself up" as I call it that I was in the regions of individuals who had separated from their physical bodies but not yet made a full transition to non-physicality. In Monroe-speak this was Focus 23, what Penny called the "freshly dead."

I was at the time unaware of the events which had unfolded in the Phillipines, where a ferry carrying 700 people had sunk in a cyclone. I found myself amidst wreckage and flotsam, and I was in what formed into a boat of sorts. One man with two children holding to his neck reached for the gunnels of the boat as he turned and noticed. I pulled the children onto the boat and then the man, and when we turned the children were embracing the guide who had appeared, apparently, with the boat. This was a bit disorienting for me, as I had not expected any of this, and it had happened so rapidly and spontaneously, and I could "see" others in the water. We neared one woman holding on to a piece of floating cushion, and she seemed to look directly at me, but did not see me. I called to her in a voice I did not recognize, forming syllables I did not recognize, but she drifted around and did not hear. I reached toward her and my hand seemed to pass through her. My guide murmured something and when I turned to look at her, the children and the man that had been there were not, and I found that the boat was aground on a beach. I knew by the light and the appearance of the beach we were on Focus 27, at The Park. I had not ever noticed such a beach in all my adventures, but here I was, it seemed, just across an open area of park and gardens from the fountain and what I have come to know as the Healing and Rejuvenation Center.

The area was filled with tents and a stream of beings moved from the beach area to the Healing Center. I tuened and looked out over the "water" and could see other boats moving towards the beach, all with people who then debarked and were walking slowly up the beach as they were greeted by familiars and others.

As ever, I was curious to see that when I looked to see my hand, I had a hand to see. When I searched to feel the water on my feet, I could feel it. When I sniffed the air, I could smell the sea. I spoke a language I did not recognize, and simply appeared where it was necessary. Of late I have been doing group retreivals like this more and more, small groups arriving at what might be called relief centers, processing centers....

As there were MANY others doing similar things as I was, I am certain some of you were there as well, doing similar work. I was wondering if anyone else has a memory of it, too? And I think I dreamed about it last night as well, like I was doing more retreivals in my sleep. Anyone else?

I LOVE this work!

Love and Light,
Thomas

Thanks for this Thomas:
a perfect example of how our "astral" beings" know so much more the our "physical" beings.  We seem to watch in awe as it all unfolds in front of us, with ourselves as one of the major players.  I do not have any dream recall of this event, though i rarely do anyway.  I usually have to meditate to access the previous night's interactions.  But I've had quite a few people, either in person or by email, ask me why they wake up exhausted sometimes.
I believe they have been participating in one or other of these disaster scenarios and have absorbed too much negative energy from the "victims".

best wishes, gordon

Gosh, Gordon, that and the other thread about televisions got me to thinking (YIKES!). It is exactly like watching television as the scenario deveopls and unfolds, like I am standing as the Observer, seeing an overview from a wider perspective. Then it becomes more focused, and I am engaged within the scenario in some way. After the task is completed, I get a de-brief usually with my guidance, and any question I have is answered, sometimes with words and sometimes with a Rote (thought ball hologram).

It almost feels like bilocation, as I am aware of a part of me that is off observing, and another part of me engaged within the scenario. That is what I mean when I say that I feel like the Veil is getting very thin.

I LOVE this work! Thanks for sharing it with me.

Yes Thomas I agree, the veil is getting thin, and thinner.  That's my experience for sure.  But I have to also acknowledge that in my earlier reading of spiritualism and theosophy, books going back to at least 1885, the notion the the 'veil is getting thinner' was repeated there often too.
Just gives the whole thing deeper roots i guess.
And yes, it does often feel like "bilocation" and did to me almost from the beginning.  part of me is "there" doing the retrieval/contact, and part of me is "here" meditating on a bed in Mississauga.
I got so that i'd say that to folk just to see their reaction!

It is great work to be involved in: one feels privileged and fulfilled.

best wishes, gordon
