Because no one is in there.

Seriously, I would expect it is the fact that this forum is small and people's time is not always insync with other people's time.
For example most people that are in Chat Forums do it at night. I myself am in bed by 8pm (EST) so I rarely see anyone in there either.

The other problem would be that people who enter will usually hang around for 5 mins to see if anyone comes in and then leave.

Hi my sweety Alysia!!! Grin

that is 6:00 PM for those of us on the east coast.  I ran to my computer two Sundays in a row, but I missed everyone!  This first time I thougt about it was at 7:00 PM and last week at 6:30 PM.  I would be great to get together --- send the word out to our TMI friends--- and choose a topic for the afternoon discussion.  Years ago I belond to a chat on AOL for psychics and I had a blast.  Our monitor was always rotated from week to week.  It was something like the Phone  Psychics and friends on line chat.

Then, of course, there were the frauds who would log on and the monitors had to devote the on line time to them, trying to decifer if what they were "experiencing" and sharing was the truth or fraud.  After my husband and I changed to DSL and now fiber cable, we dropped AOL and I lost the chat room.  I am happy to have Bruce's blog, but desire a lively chat once again. Love and light-- Carol Ann

Hi

I was at a family related event on the 1st.
Last week I came late and nobody was home!

I think the way to try it is to log in to the chat room and then to go read the other posts and then to check back and see if anyone showed up. If someone else had been in the chat room i would have noticed it and stayed longer. Sometime I have trouble doing things on the hour especially on Sunday.

You can change the color of your posts there but some colors are hard to read. But it could look like a scrambled rainbow there.
