Newbie with suspected retrieval accounts
Jun 6th, 2008 at 9:03am

I've moved over from Afterlife Knowledge to be in the appropriate place. I read Bruce's four books in a few weeks last month and think I may have been doing some in dreamtime. Of course, I still have my intellect giving me some trouble but for the most part, I can tune it out.  Grin

Yesterday, I found a dream I had journaled from the the 20th of last month that sounds like a retrieval. I had forgotten about it until I reread it. The quick synopsis - Sitting down to write, I noted that it was 4:44 am (significant to me) I dreamed that there was a couple that went for a motorcycle ride on the husband's birthday. They wrecked and both exited but the guilt the man felt was overwhelming and kept him stuck, replaying the scene in F  23. I convinced him to let me take him "home." When I got to the apt (F 27?) I told their "son" he was there and he said "Time to do the birthday thing!" Then I started playing a game with my oldest daughter who was there. Tongue

Another dream that comes to mind is from a year or more ago where I was walking alongside a pond. I saw a little boy in fetal position at the bottom. I thought, What is he doing there. Then I did something with my hand and he floated up, 'coming back to life' and stood next to me on the ground. That dream really struck me, at the time I didn't think about RAM's retrieval experiences and I had not read Bruce's book yet.

I know there are more that aren't coming to mind that I will share when they do!

Loving life, living to love!

YUP! Classic accounts Staci, they jive with some of my own retrievals. I'm so glad you posted. from time to time a person will share with us a retrieval they did, and they just weren't sure whether it was just a dream or something they ate.

well, dreams are an area of subconscious activity, and often they seem unimportant or mundane, on the other hand they are clues into our own being, and the way that our greater mind just never sleeps and is quite active interacting with the minds of other beings, as in retrievals or partnered explorations.
this is what I've found by keeping a dream journal for 10 years. seems to be degrees of dream levels  and obes also.
____

we often are given symbology of what you've been up to, with your more free moving self out there. btw, keep Bruce's books, as the 2nd read through threw me for a loop, what I'd missed the first time.

I found it VERY interesting in the first retrieval you took the man to his son, showing how family love bonds is so important also in retrievals. The son says "time to do the birthday thing."
He knows what to do now, for he regards transition as a birthday, which if you think about it, what a perfect explanation for a retrieval circumstance! my toes are curling in glee!
I think the son, was out and about in his astral, or soul mind body, if he was still physically incarnate which I assume he was.

the oldest daughter being there is like my own retrievals, in that, for awhile, my own daughter I could sense her energy riding along with me when I did explorations. she was learning in her way from me about retrievals, like a silent companion. I thought this was curious once or twice that I knew she was there, until I began ascertaining some retrievers also bring their pets with them when doing this work. so you didn't think that the presence of your daughter during this retrieval takes away from the assistance and reality of what you accomplished for the man..a more "comfortable" place, a hand up, an act of compassion for someone you met on the road of life.
Also might mention heavy guilt will keep many a soul stuck..weighs them down, just like gravity here weighs us down. who knows from a linear time viewpoint, how long the man may have remained stuck until a helper like yourself ventured to free him?
You must allow yourself some bit of feel good here, and a sense of your greater being.
________

the boy in the fetal position is also another stuck entity. He must have drowned. you, doing your usual out of the physical mind scanning happened across him. you sensed him, or perhaps an invisible guide directed your attention to him. sometimes that happens.
what u did with your hand to bring him up is like one of my retrievals where I seemed to use my hand to pull someone up, then he seemed to be pulled through my astral light body and from there disappeared from my farm land, I had been looking for ghosts, I was "cleaning up." I didn't want a ghost to bother my new tenant.

that was setting an intention though. I too, cannot explain how or what we did. if you could explain what you did with your hand, I'd like to know, but I understand as I'm having the same difficulty.
all I can say at this point, we "moved" energy into a more appropriate place.

with my retrieval I explained to him, it was time to move on, just before the blast of light hit the scene and he was gone. I still remember his bugged out eyes, lol, it was like he was saying "Wait! I don't have my travel clothes on yet!"

thanks for sharing, very uplifting stories to my point of view, and quite authentic. love, alysia

Thank you for the reply Alysia! I can 'feel' that it is real and it jive's with my beliefs. I look forward to the total elimination of doubt however  Tongue

After I read your post, I wondered 'Well if I'm already doing it, does it make a difference if I do it consciously?' Aside from being interesting? My own answer is that the more people that explore consciously, the more we contribute to converting unknowns into knowns, thus raising the vibration of the collective consciousness. And that we will not be dependent on information outside ourselves.

Welcoming and wanting to hear other perspectives and insights into learning to do it consciously!

yes, I think that most folks are not aware that retrievals go on, so it's just making folks aware for now, but there are groups here and there doing it.

Perhaps I wasn't so clear  Tongue I was wanting to hear people's insights about the importance of learning to do this consciously. I'm teetering on that. There is a workshop Bruce is doing next month that I would love to go to if I could bend my finances in that direction. I really want to learn conscious retrieving vs. remembering them as dreams. Just inviting people to comment on their ideas, insights, etc.

I need some practice being more clear, so a recap: In the long run - will doing retrievals consciously be more beneficial to the ultimate goal?

Staci asked: In the long run - will doing retrievals consciously be more beneficial to the ultimate goal?
____

the short answer, my opinion, is yes. speaking personally of course. but I was wondering if you could explain a little what is meant by ultimate goal? I can imagine what you mean, but I don't consider retrievals as an objective anymore, perhaps you consider it a goal because consciously, it is an objective to learn the ropes at first.

did you read all the Moen books? I think you did, or you wouldn't be posting here.
a 2nd read through helps too.

I believe by doing retrievals, or consciously doing them slowly increases the consciousness level of the entire planet by alleviating some of the effluvia in the grid, some emotional/mental constructs layering we are all effected by. then the shift in consciousness, which is realizing our potential and link with forces of good, truth, love, speeds up human evolution.

I determined as a budding conscious retriever a few years back, that I had to do as the instructions said..go forth on trust, pretending, or faking it until I made, pushing doubts aside, as doubts make you want to throw your hands up in the air and say forget it.

and that is how Bruce's books explain that assistance will be given the more you work with this area, to break on thru to the other side. right now you're sending out signals, with your thoughts...that u want to do this thing. Your thoughts can be seen, by their color, by their vibration. This is a signal to helpers who guide retrievers about where it's best to send you, to which one.

Bruce says the retrievals are simple at first then grow in difficulty according to your success rate. I found this is true, that they can get more challenging.
don't worry if you cannot see or hear a guidance factor there. it's like they throw you in the water and you have to learn to sink or swim because you are also doing self discovery while retrieving.

I know if you keep at it, you'll do it. what it particularly did for myself is I began to feel I could serve life, and before I felt like I was just taking up space on planet Earth. it's a sort of be all that you can be philosophy while extending PUL, a life force to the stuck. never give up.

Well I know there are so many ideas out there about 2012 and what will happen. But basically I'm referring to getting as much as possible done by then. Have you heard of divinecosmos.com?

Hi  Smiley

Regarding Staci's question about whether retrievals make a difference---

When we travel out of body we seem to leave an energy trail that makes it easy to go to those same places later--a trace is left.
When we work with PUL it seems to stay with us or create an energy field that even strangers respond to positively.
When I read this site about the help being offered, my attitude for the day is improved, and gradually I can feel my vibrations rise.
When we're in contact more with our Higher Selves or Oversouls, our positive energies are enhanced again.

So even on the earthly plane these activities make a difference.
I mention these first because they seem more measurable to me
in daily life. Most of these effects have been previously discussed
and agreed upon here, so when I say 'I', I mean it just as an example;
really it's we and potentially everyone.

When we free stuck souls, we clear the fear or guilt that held the soul back.
Doing retrievals puts us in contact with Helpers and our Highest Selves and again that contact seems to raise our own energies.

So certainly these activities must be making a difference.
Bringing up 2012, we have numbers suggesting measurement. I don't know how many retrievals it will take. Probably each is a drop in the bucket compared to all souls. But a bucket doesn't have to be full to tip over ( I mean to pour in the right direction.  Cheesy  )

Bets

Hi Staci,

I couldn't agree with you more, regarding your reasoning for doing retrievals consciously. We are busy with all kinds of things while asleep, but there is great value in retrieving while conscious, and the more we do them and share with others in the physical, the more our world will change for the better. Outside of being of service to others and all that brings to everyone involved, conscious retrieving is the best way, I feel, to discover who and what you really are, to learn to explore other areas of consciousness. But most of all, to get your own proof that there is no such thing as death.

I attended Bruce's workshop in 2001 and believe me, it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Much love,

Ginny

This is very interesting as I hadn't considered the possibility of retrieving without consciously intending to do so. First post, btw - hi!

I've had a recurring dream since my mother passed away last year. Just to give a very brief background, she had to move from her home in something of a rush to a more suitable apartment because of disability. Many of her possessions were disposed of without (I thought) much regard for whether she wanted them. The same happened after her death - lots of items she had cherished were thrown away.

In the dream I always find myself in my mother's house, or a version of it, trying to gather all these items and save them. I had thought this was me trying to deal with guilt or something similar. More recently though I keep seeing my mum in the house - she seems to be involved in a similar activity and I can't seem to get her attention, or if I do she seems very preoccupied.

Having read this account of dream retrieval it makes me wonder...

Batfink! welcome! I am wondering too, whether you are in process of a retrieval on your mom, as you said you are having dreams of gathering her things. her things are like what her spiritual values were while living her life here. she seems to be involved in leaving attachments behind, which we can do here on the earthplane before we transition however we don't always learn to do that first.

what u can do to help the retrieval along is keep trying to get her attention. Your love is what does it. is what helps her along.

for example let me run my own retrieval of my mother here by you. it has some similarities to your own mother's retrieval in process.

What makes this retrieval different is that consciously, what we call level C1 here, I had not been informed mother had passed.
this vivid dream took place as one of those unconscious retrievals that we're talking about here, does happen.

Although it was I am 100% sure, an authentic retrieval, it had to be portrayed in dream symbols to my C1 level.

My mother was also "rushing". she was portrayed as rushing through a crowd of people on a busy street, she was looking for my address, in this large city. A guide helpfully instructed her to go to city hall and get directions. However, just before she would take his advice, I spotted her in the crowd and called her over to my own apt. my station.

to really get the flavor of this retrieval, you have to remember, I had no idea she had left this world. my sister had been too grief stricken to be able to tell me this.

as I called her over I felt a burst of joy I could help her now. and what's more she was enlisting my aide. something she had never done in real life. I brought her into my apt. as portrayed as a normal apt filled with light, and somehow I knew I had created this apt and spent time here, just doing retrieving, bringing others here as an inbetween station, where other guides came to get them and move them on towards wherever they fit the best in our new homes.

I also knew I had to leave her there while I went for guides to continue the retrieval. A retrievers first job is attaining their attention. this I had done by calling out her name. symbolically illustrated, I brought her into my home, as she was lost, and rushing to find our bond of love. our oneness. love is eternal and guides.

she immediately relaxed when she found me. it was her job to return to our bond of love. she succeeded. I knew she had to wait there for a time and another symbol was supplied of Her service to life, her labors of love.
which this symbol was a thing. it was her old sewing machine. she sewed for people at different times in her life, and she loved sewing, and the people who came to her loved her, even though she wasn't the greatest seamstress, the people had a need to do business with her, to see someone as industrious and cheerful, maybe that was what the light around her head was all about.
anyway, it was the last service that one did in life which puts them in their level of the heavens, and secures their place there, which was important for me to show to mother, she had done good work here for others. and this is a spiritual principle, that we are in service to one another.

so up pops the old sewing machine and I sat her down before it and she began sewing again happily, as she was no longer out in the street, rushing around looking for an address of her daughter.

and I knew the guides would come at the right time for her, and that the apt was stocked with everything she could want in the meantime for her short stay.

then a couple months after this retrieval which had me confused, I find out later, accidentally, by looking on the internet of death certificates for my father, I found instead my mother had died and I had done a retrieval already.

she had come looking for me though, as she knew in life, I did retrievals, but she thought I was just her looney kid. after death though, looney or not, her love was strong enough to find my love for her and this is the greatest feeling I've ever had in a retrieval circumstance.

I hope you continue and succeed to bring your mom home. love, alysia
