Where The Children Wait - China
May 22nd, 2008 at 12:21pm

Over the many years of aiding in retrievals I can never get use to the energy around such devastation created from the numerous natural disasters and wars we are experiencing. Standing consciously in the presents of the shattered world of our Chinese neighbors, I focused on a pile of ruble that once was an apartment complex. I sent my intent to not see the ruble there and help release anyone that was still trapped in spirit, (this technique is one taught by Bruce Moen) immediately a mother and daughter came up off the ground and stood at my side. I turned and lead them to some helpers that appeared as first aid workers, welcoming them into a tent. Turning back to the devastation I proceeded to the next pile of ruble and saw it not there, out of the corner of my eye I caught some movement. Turning I saw a child standing next to me in spirit. She gave me the energy impression that she was waiting for her family. I returned my focus to the pile of ruble and made it disappear. Several more people released and walked over by us. The little girl at my side preceded to lead a small group of people off towards the helpers. As I continued focusing on piles I noticed more and more children in spirit waiting. As each group was freed from the ruble the waiting children took what felt like family members on to the helpers.

I am sure some of the children where helpers, but I also felt some of the children where victims of the earthquake and where waiting for family members before they would move on.  Experiencing this touched me deeply and answered a question I carried with me for years. "What is the purpose of during retrievals??"

For a couple of years I stop consciously doing retrieval work. Everytime a disaster happened or I heard of more soldiers being killed in wars, I felt like a doctor or nurse that drives by an accident with injured people waiting for help. The answer to my question came through the CHILDREN WAITING. We are helping family, we are bringing ourselves back to a state of wholeness.

That's a wonderful testimonial, Mikeel !

It's a testimonial to how much retrievals help both the victims and the retrievers!
Thank you for sharing it!

(Are you a writer?  Your title is very dramatic and everything else a title should be.)

Thank you for the inspiration,
Bets

Actually, just today I took a mind journey to China and found a child, waiting. I didn't find family members around the child, then the child ran away, I followed in a distance, and then the child entered something like a door and vanished without a trace.

thanks for posting. it is inspiring. I am basically like you. only I consider the adults to be the children too, as I consider we are all children despite what age in years.
the purpose of retrievals is good intentions unraveling also. Before I did retrievals, a sense of helplessness would overtake me many years ago that there was anything one puny person could do. However, that is a lie. we all can help just one person and that can only be a good thing, which can take away that sense of helplessness we sometimes can still get in the face of calamities. Calamities that have a higher purpose, but which escapes us, just what higher purpose there can be. we will know someday everything..but in the meantime, we are the ones we've been waiting for all our lives, that statement is expressed as PUL in action, during a retrieval, for it is the same as an act of charity.
we don't question people's motives for extending charity, but often enough, lack of understanding will yield criticism towards those who make claims of doing retrievals and the reporting of them.

I know the world would keep turning right on schedule if I don't do a retrieval. However, this is one way of finding out all life is one.

during my retrieval in China, the same thing happened, the man wanted to find his family before moving on...this shows me a family is a unit of beings..this is what I've been taught..PUL is the binding force of families..no one moves without the other moving with them.
It's very natural to get stuck things moving...movement is life. thanks again for sharing

hi mikeel,

yes and yes again.  mass retrieval work is no fun.  solo work can be fascinating, challenging and sometimes great fun, but the disaster stuff is for old hardened pros.  it's the only way to get through it.  if you stop to plug into their emotions you're a mess yourself.

while there never seems to be enough volunteers on hand, "the team"  always understands when you need some time out for r and r, even if it's years, earth time.

when i have folk come to me for consultation I always get them onto solo retrievals first, until they get their wings/confidence/strength.  Dealing with split up families, some dead some alive, can be torture for a starting out helper.

love, gordon

Regarding mass retrievals, on some mind journeys I participated in those. Unlike others, mostly I hadn't a problem with emotions. Maybe it just wasn't real, or the role I had wasn't likely to pick up many vibes: Often, I felt like being at the front of a large team behind me, and my only job was to get the attention of the retrievees. Once a connection of any kind (eye contact f.e.) was established, the retrievee was moved immediately to the team behind me, this all happened very quickly.

Hello friend Gordon you hit the nail right on...PLUG INTO THEIR EMOTIONS..

I had first hand experience on this not so long ago and it did took his tole; but i've learned form it.
Thanks to Bruce help/experiences/knowledge it did help me get through.

Emotions can be so unearthing so to speak and very powerful, even when you build your protection there're time when it still siff/pass through and we need to know how to deal with it.

Bruce idea of ..kind of looking at it from a distance or through a kind of glass help a lots.

We learn everyday..Smiley

Spooky, seems like you've already learnt the art of distancing yourself.
But also given your "job", as perceived, that's the one with the least personal contact.  It's when you are actually trying to convince one grieving soul to leave the "living" family members and move on that you're up close and personal with their grief and trauma.  especially in a parent/child situation.

Hi, I been reading about some of Gordon's retrievals in his 2nd book. lot of striking correlations, so I'm grateful for the read. been out of doing them as intentions for awhile, instead of retrievals, a different type of thing is happening now for me.

hard to express, but the emotions are coming into play and being used for healings. Not negative emotions, just PUL emotions. I seem to enter the person's field and sense how they are feeling. Recently I did a healing on Rick here who is still reporting the effects, but to be fair, a few others also sent him healing. We've been working closely for several years also, so that has something to do with what happened.

I surveyed some other lives where I was in the healing fields either as a nurse or a herbologist, or a medicine woman, etc. I seem to have carried over into healing areas this life, started out doing a laying on of hands wherever I found a willing participant. some success with that. found out faith healing is not appreciated in this day and age.

and now I discovered retrieval area is part of the healing arts, not only that, but there is Reiki healers surfacing. I am being initiated into what some call absent healing. which only means, my physical hands are not laying on somebody. My mind is expanding my healing hands into the ethers.

Gordon knows about this. we've sort of discussed it, about our higher self activities out there. what I think has happened and your book is helping me recognize it Gord, my higher self has descended into my body so that my ego, or personal desire, whatever, is sublimated entirely to the All That Is merging that has taken place.

back to Rick's healing, which I feel was a double blessing, for us both I mean. As I did the healing circle imagery that day, I got in touch with the magnificent power of healing which is there to tap into. I placed him in the circle and others here I placed around him and we all raised our hands and radiated this healing to him.
that is when something happened..I entered his emotional field, touched his heart with my hand, told him to let me heal him and he said ok. I felt his gentleness of soul and started crying with happiness that I knew he was healed. that he had the ability to receive the healing.

then I was healed! by healing him, I became healed myself. for how many people on Earth can really accept their own healing? but I understand, it is important during a retrieval to not get swept away by another's pain. otherwise you are no good to them.

my first retrieval the young man's scream for god to help him was making me blink out because I cried for him too and there was a strong guide there whom forced me to blink back on and get his attention. i remember well how she yelled at me, no, no, do not let the pain overwhelm you! I was successful to approach him, although he called for god, I had to be god for a moment..just a job. Talking soothingly is what worked. a compassion trait. lol. that retrieval was funny when the ambulance guys started moving in, they were like, shoot, we've been waiting years to get this one out of the alley..finally! they acted like they had done this a million times and it was getting boring to them, to me, it was my first time.

then some retrievals, just business as usual and they are quite necessary and we are cleaning up the astral this way.
