I had a granddaughter who passed on at the age of two months and two days, in a hospital during heart surgery.  A couple of months later, I had a dream in which my smug grandmother was holding Alicia on her hip.  Alicia appeared to be a toddler, curly headed and grinning from ear to ear.  She turned her head to look directly at me.  I'll never forget her words.  "Lookit me, Granny!" as she swung her legs and bounced happily.

   Yes, thistle, when I woke up remembering my dream, it made me very happy.  It has been many years since then, and thinking about it still makes me happy.  Strange, how something like this stays so clear in the mind.
