Hi

I don't know if it's the accumulation of anxiety that created this dream, but the feeling at the end is in my top 3 of "Hellish feeling/ Sad

I was at school, finalizing a little art project.  The guy behind me begun to tell the professor that I was late and I should not be able to finish it (an other professor allowed me to finish it, because only few adjustment were needed).  He was more and more drastic in his comments.   More he was adding, more my project collapsed and looked dumb.

I was out of myself.  I started to choke him.  That was not enough, so I punched him as hard as I can.  his head finally looked like mud, so I was satisfied by my destruction process.

After all that, I realized that he was  me.  I was hitting myself.  I acted like a leaving dead.  I turned myself toward a mirror and I was crying like a zombie in a horror movie.

When I saw me in the mirror, that where I felt the more "hellish".  My hair were orange and covering my face in a very distinct way.  Then I stated to act like a leaving dead again.  I removed the hair to show my destroyed face and I cried as if I wanted to disturb someone.  My vision blurred so I was not able to see my face.

I woke up, and I was terrified by  the feeling of the dream.  I closed my eyes and I saw a very aggressive dog with red glowing eyes.  It was like the Kerberos dog in the mythology, but he has only one head.

I de-dramatized the situation, and returned to sleep.

just what occurs off the top o me head PM, question: has someone critisized an actual art project of yours?
if this is the case it could have caused this dream, where you reacted angrily and then stuffed the anger down. theres nothing makes a person madder than if u create something, a piece of work, put your heart in it, then someone dang it, critisizes it.

I'm just saying if you walked away agreeing with them, then you didn't express yourself well in that situation. it's ok to talk back to critisizers, to ask them why they feel that way. don't mean you have to accept what they say as true though.

do u mean, you said "leaving dead" I think you meant to say "living dead."

the aspect or main point of the dream as I see it, you were only hurting yourself to react angrily, you were telling yourself to control your anger, as it only hurts You, in the end.  Since you do martial arts, I can see why you would have a dream like this to illustrate wise use of emotions.

If I were going to take martial arts, I think I'd like to study Tai Chi. this is merely defensive manuevers of redirecting the opponents energy as the offensive party moves towards you (emotional energy also from another)  as their energy body (or comment of derogatory whatever) as they advance you swing them over your head, using their own force of energy by not obstructing their pathway with yours.

I'm sure your teachers told you all about this.  Smiley
so the point is to deflect critisism which could in the end be all wrong for you. it is very hard to do with persons in authority, but you seem maybe wanting to learn but your teachers, you find out are not always right on the button with their wisdoms, so have to express yourself and not get mad.

love, alysia

Another possible view is, maybe PhantasyMan, you yourself are your hardest critic? And in an attempt to hold this part of you down, fighting it, you're only fighting and destructing yourself. One part would be your positive, synthesizing creative aspect, the other your negative analytic-critic-destructive aspect. (Like Yin and Yang maybe) And you then appearing as zombie/living dead may symbolize, after you destroyed a part of yourself, you're neither dead nor alive, you're uncomplete. Something's missing and you're suffering from that (like your car in your other dream).

That dog had only one head, but still seems to me to be a two-headed one, as it could symbolize a force, an entity waiting for a chance to be fed from aggression and then become active, "let the dog out" so to say, and it's other meaning would be, it is your own inner power, now densified or clogged in form of a symbol of potential aggression, which is a sort of blockade sitting inside yourself; as the Cerberus, it is not allowing something to cross it's way, maybe not allowing energy to pass peacefully and naturally. (In your other dream your way into a new life was blocked by the missing of your car)

I look at dreams always in a twofold manner: The one possibility is, it's reflecting something what has actually happened in your physical life, the other possibility is, it is expressing fears and concerns, which don't necessarily do have a real object. (Of course a mix of both is not unlikely)
