my first oob a retrieval
Feb 4th, 2008 at 12:06am

I was listening to a CD that was designed to help one go OBE or out of body.  I was sleeping in a RV up over the cab next to the window.   As I was fazing out of normal awake consciousness I had the dream like view of myself fighting to get out of the sleeping bag I was in.  I was trying so hard to pull the bag from over my face.  As soon as I did I found myself rolling out the front of the RV.  I landed on my feet standing right in front of the cab looking up at my sleeping bag with my body still in it.  WOW what a rush that was.  The feeling that I was out of my body and free to go anywhere I wished without the constraints of the flesh.   I looked down at my etheric body to see what it looked like.  I could see the form of my legs however they looked like the night sky dark with thousands of pin points of light shining at me.  I also remembered the reports of a silver cord that was supposed to connect me to my body.  I found it coming out the back of my head.  It was larger than I thought it would be, about one inch and a half.  After I grabbed it I looked at my hand and it left an imprint like a shadow.  I decided to go cruising around the neighborhood and found myself passing through the walls of a house.  It was dark inside except for a boy watching TV.  He looked to be about 10 years old.

Next I found myself watching a group of teenagers cruising around in a four wheel drive truck.  Some how I new they were dead.  The truck stopped and kids all bailed out.  I walked up to one of the girls and started a conversation with her.  I asked her if she knew she was dead.  She did not know she was.  I told her that if she came with me I would take her to a better place than where she was right then.  She took my hand and we started to rise up away from the earth.  At some point on the way up she just disappeared.  I found myself back in my body after that, wide awake.  Wow what a rush.  My very first OBE,  and all that.

This happened about 1998

Welcome to the board!
Now that ...was what I call an adventure. So cool!
Thanks for sharing that. Your words literally "allowed me to feel" with you. Thank you.

What a fantastic beginning, Ferwerda!

Many thanks for sharing your experience!
Isn't it neat how your mind seems to know what to do, like not bothering with doors etc, not bothered at all by your new view of Self, 'like' it already knew what to expect.  Wink

And to do a retrieval your first time out--that's wonderful!

Have you continued with your exploring?

you do good work. that's one less person to retrieve. Someday, we are going to not have an astral level. it's people that do retrievals, makes sure that everyone gets to where they want to go, no matter if it's the astral body or a physical body..we all gonna get there honey.

love to you! clap clap hands!

Thank you for the welcome.  I will post some other retreavals this weekend.  I have had some great successes.  I still struggle to be fully aware of oob's most of the time.   I just fall asleep and have weird dreems.  It can be very irritating.  I have been using the  Monroe cd's for about 15 years.  Even though I do not remember what is going on most of the time, I feel my view of the world changing.  It has had the affect wanting to love more, live more, be more.  It has been very expanding on a soul level.  So I keep at it.  Thanks.  Lance

Greetings Lance. 15 years! wow. that is quite revealing your dedication.

if I can ever help you with symbolism of these experiences please feel free to ask; I've been studying symbolism within dream area for at least 15 years, and doing retrievals only since 1999, but studied dreams further back. have had some success with dream interpretation based on a purely spiritual outlook which links the mundane to the spirit realm.

Now you've whetted my appetite should you wish to share a retrieval. I will reciprocate with similar if desired. I think by comparison we can learn from each other.

welcome to our bar room brawl which sometimes changes to a walk in the park. love, alysia

Thanks for posting this ferwerda, interesting. Like Monroes first retrievals, at some point, the retrievees simply vanished, as he later found out, they bent off to the place of the afterlife they resonated with.
