I just sat on my porch and smoked a cigarette. I watched two squirrels mate on the branch of one of my favorite trees. Not a groundhog, exactly, but a very good sign.  

I just went back out there. They are playing like mad. Aren't they having fun?

Apparently, there are two groundhogs, and they disagree. Why does that not surprise me?

One says lots more winter, and one says, no, spring is just around the corner.
