A song this morning
Jan 16th, 2008 at 12:51pm

Sometimes I wake with a song title in my head, and I thought of this board and I got a good feeling that it was about this board. I often hear us talking together in my head, in the collective areas of mind; I often feel love for you all, for the way you have made me feel this love through your communications, whether negative or positive, it doesn't matter, it's the fact that we have community, otherwise there would be no place to go at all, so I count my blessings and they end up being all of you.
LEARN HOW TO PRETEND as sung by Rita Coolidge

(actually, the title is We're all alone)

Outside the rain begins and it may never end
So cry no more on the shore a dream
Will take us out to sea
Forever more forever more
Close your eyes and dream
And and you can be with me
'Neath the waves through the caves of hours
Long forgotten now
We're all alone we're all alone

Close the window calm the light
And it will be alright
No need to bother now
Let it out let it all begin
Learn how to pretend

Once a story's told
It can't help but grow old
Roses do lovers too
So cast your seasons to the wind
And hold me dear oh hold me dear

Close the window calm the light
And it will be alright
No need to bother now
Let it out let it all begin
All's forgotten now
We're all alone oh oh we're all alone
Close the window calm the light
And it will be alright
No need to bother now
Let it out let it all begin
All's forgotten now
We're all alone we're all alone
Let it out let it all begin
Owe it to the wind my love
_______

Just would like to add besides my slurpy feelings for you all, is that learning how to pretend means we enter the kingdom of god as little children. We've forgotten how to pretend. Pretending is very creative act and JC said suffer the little children to come unto me.  when we stop trying to be so adult, we can get rid of the accumulation of baggage of errors and thought systems and patterns of thinking which block the entrance of our truth, that each of us is worthy of love, and/or feeling good and worthy of god's love and we have a right to be here, for this is our home. for now.
and don't forget even Einstein had to do it. Einstein said "imagination is more important than knowledge."
and also don't forget BMoen's books on how to explore our inner beings and even the heaven portals: you can get in there by allowing yourself to pretend, and often enough with a heartfelt prayer, what you pretend begins to come true.
