we have 3 abstract mind ladies here
the right hemisphere in action.
Blink, didn't we make a big thread once about pigs that can fly?
if my memory serves me right it was a turning point for me right about there.
the imagination of the right hemisphere can apparently create, at the least, a state of internal joy, at the most, it can create a manifestation of reality
(with intention)
now onto more important things...
If I were a turnip, I would look back from where I had sprouted and at last understand, I didn't get shoved off the truck on the way to town, I jumped!
Ladies, we dream. Blink related a heavenly dream in the hot air balloon. so that reminds me..
first, Blink, what do u mean you can't scan something?
do u mean on the puter or do you mean mind scan? as in a rote? I have rotes on the mind this morn...
The Dream:
this is inspired by my friend Blink whom I am grateful to have met here, we are so long here, we are growing on the wall like something organic...the reason it inspired, she rides a white horse and this is about a white leopard
I was very small, under five, maybe 3 to 4 yrs of age. I hardly have any memories of early childhood. this one stands out.
the memory relates to a white leopard knick knack my foster mother had placed on a mantel. It looked very fierce and had its mouth open, showing teeth. I was thinking in my child mind, no, there is no such thing as white leopards, I'm sure this is just a knick knack, but I wonder...what if there is a white leopard and I wonder if this animal could be made into my friend?
(oh god I was so lonely back then!)
so that night in a very very real dream, I woke up, I was in bed and the leopard, full size was slinking towards my bed! whaaaaaaa!!! (this is not your typical buggyman under the bed dream though, not to me!)
as I froze in terror that my knick knack had come to life, it continued to slink slowly towards me and I thought for sure I was a goner now, I was it's din din!
I covered my face with the blanket, however, it was still there when I looked again!
I knew it was more powerful than me and oh well, since I was toast, I may as well get a good look at what was going to eat me. We locked eyes. It had large, hypnotic eyes and seemed not mean, just powerful and beautiful as well. I tried talking to it mentally, like, hmm. what r u doing in my bedroom, and what r u going to do once you get up close to me? no answer. just that lithness approaching, when these animals move, all the muscles are fluid movement in unison. graceful.
finally the suspense was over. It leaped in the air over the top of my body and entered me! end of dream.
I often wonder it it's my true totem. all the Indians had a totem, like little white dove, running bear, etc...maybe the white leopard or tiger is mine?
and the white horse is Blinks?
or, it's possible I'm having a flying pig totem, who drops crumbs from it's chocolate smeared mouth...
hugs, thanks for your poetry here Blink, we surely could use it to balance things out.
