double dream
Oct 31st, 2007 at 12:44am

Hi This is the first time Ive written anything here but as I have a lot of unusual dreams which by reading some of yours are actually probably quite normal if anyone can help me understand them that would be great.
My 16 year old son recently died and at first I couldnt dream at all but know 15 weeks later the dreams wont stop.
So here is one of the first ones I had after he died

I wake up in bed (i call them double dreams when you dream that you wake up because I actually thought I was awake ) I'm mucking around with my husband - you know stupid dumb stuff he's passing wind and holding the blanket over my head, tickling me etc. Then I notice the tv is on and that Bert Newton is on tv( an old aussie tv host) I look at my watch because Bert Newton is never on early in the morning and my watch says 4.45am. I think to myself why is bert on tv this early. Then I look down the hallway and there is this strange guy marching down the hallway towards me really fast and urgently - I can still picture what he looks like hes got a light blue collared shirt and pants on. Im really scared and I say to him who are you what do you want - stop etc and I say to my husband make him stop, help and my husband says make who stop, what are you talking about.  I panic and the guy just keeps coming, he marches into our room and around to my side of the bed and peers straight at me. Well I scream and then actually really wake up.  Its 3.45am when I wake up and Im terrified because Im sure at 4.45 hes going to come marching down the hallway so I make my husband stay awake with me.

Greetings Tarja,

Firstly, Welcome! And thanks for sharing that dream--it must have been scarey!

I'll tell you what I thought of, and others will add their insights, but it's up to you to determine if any of us offer  any explanations that seem right to you, OK? Because it was Your dream.  Smiley

The figure could have been a messenger, someone your son met in the afterlife. He might have been on his first messenger mission and so was not as gentle yet as alot of spirits are. He just knew he had to find you so he could tell you something from your son.

Sometime when you're going to sleep, you can ask for the same dream/messenger to reappear. (In the afterlife time is not like here so they don't mind doing something over.) But this time ask him what he wants to tell you.  Smiley Or it might not be the same fellow--just expect to receive a message. They don't mean to scare the living daylights out of us, so try to help him like you would any guest.  Smiley Of course we don't usually greet guests at 4:45 am, but you know what I mean.

Whatever you learn I hope you'll come back and tell us you're now OK with such an experience.  It's a gift to you that you could get so far as to see him clearly, but you can learn more.

Love, Bets

also to add to Bets thoughts on the dream Tarja, the numbers 445 which reduces to 4, seem to have been given for you as being significant. It may not mean a time of day, it could also mean the month of April, the fourth month. It could also mean something to happen in 4 months. I have found numbers in dreams can mean anything at all, but the fact is you did look at the clock, so there is a meaning to find.

perhaps it set up an expectation. which is to open the mind, with expectation, as now your attention will be upon the dream numbers, everywhere you look you might see this number to remind you, there is a message waiting for you, from the other side.

I don't think he meant to frighten you, but rather, sometimes fear will cause us to remember something. you cannot be harmed by the spirit world, but the unknown is what is fearful, so you must make this dream a known. to track down the message.
if he should appear again, this time you will most likely be more calm and able to receive more information rather than blink awake into C1. (consciousness level One, waking)

I responded to the other dream you mentioned, which was full of messages of comfort for you from your son, while this dream seems to be a forerunner of the other.

love to you and yours, be sure to write the dreams down, I think that is helpful to us in the long run. alysia
