dream that come true
Sep 8th, 2007 at 5:20pm

I have had alot of strange dream.  the one that bugs me the most is as follows:

It was a number of years ago and I was at my wife aunts home.  We where sleeping in the guess room.  as I was sleeping i wake up in my dream to a young child my mother baby sat for years, and later I watched after school.  He was in the hall way and run across the door.  the room seemed to be a merky green color.  I got up in my dream to see what he was doing and as I got close to the door it shut i tried and tried to open the door but there was no way i had strengh to open the door.  when I wake up in the morning I told the family about my dream I thought i was strange because i had not seen or even heard about this boy for years.  later that month my mother told me that the boy had died his car went over a bridge and landed in the water he could not get out, this happened across the country.  he died the night I had the dream.

Greetings Jetman,

Welcome to you!

We are all connected, Jetman, and you must have had connections to the boy, even though you hadn't seen him for awhile.
Your spirit may have gone to him during his fatal accident, but you interpreted the murky green water as a room, to keep yourself from being scared of drowning. Opening car doors under water is really difficult, and you had trouble with the door too. Our dreams can be basically true but they can change details to help us understand.  Perhaps the dream bugs you because you wish you could have done more. People who have died sometimes need help getting into the afterlife. We learn to do those rescues and call them 'retrievals'. You almost did a retrieval even without any training!

A spirit actually wouldn't have had to use the door at all, so apparently your consciousness was still partly in material reality. And of course the boy was. You weren't being asked to save him, just to help his spirit, and you cared enough to go to him. You are apparently just learning to listen to your Spiritual Guidance as it tries to show you your true spiritual nature. That doesn't mean all dreams come from Spirit, but this one sure seems to have!

It's wonderful that you are noticing the importance of your dreams---You are far ahead of many !
I hope you'll have time to read here about how others are also learning to listen and use their Spiritual Guidance. Most of us got our training from the host of this site, Bruce Moen.

Please join us with more of your experiences, questions and opinions!  Smiley

Bets

Hi Jetman dear, nice to finally see your words make it to this forum.

I need you to understand that I am not a dream expert, however I did read your posting on afterlife site. In reading it,  I would think that you are sensitively gifted. Becoming aware of it is something very special and you need to learn more about your gift, so to not be afraid of it, maybe to use it to help others with when you have become educated in its capabilities.

That means to me, that you have a gift inwhich the soul of another human being can dock its frequency onto, and contact your soul by means, which is called a "lucid dream".. Lucid dreaming means dreaming while knowing that you are dreaming and that is why the whole dream can be remembered, and not like the regular dreams where you wake up and say, wow - I dreamt something but don`t know what it was.

The term Lucid was coined by Fred van Eeden who used the word "lucid" in the sense of being in a state of mental clarity. Lucidity usually begins in the midst of a dream when the dreamer realizes that the experience is not occurring in physical reality, but is a dream. Often this realization is triggered by the dreamer noticing some impossible or unlikely occurrence in the dream, such as meeting the deceased. Sometimes people become lucid without noticing any particular clue in the dream; they just suddenly realize they are in a dream. Lucid dreaming has been researched scientifically, and its existence is well established.

Considering your dream had dealings with a person whom then deceased, you really need to take the time and read the information about the way the afterlife is built up. For us it is very hard to understand at first, but Peter H. Kirchner and Bruce Moen has simplified it as much as possible, so to be able to help thousands & thousands of people all around the world. Bruce`s links you`ll find on this site and Jenseits link is www.jenseits-de.com - the best thing for you to look for is the section where all of the "excerpts" http://www.jenseits-de.com/e/index-education.html are located at. The site is in german and in english. You are welcomed to ask any questions in the Q and A section there and I really do know that these people will and can help you understand. just as the loving people here in this forum can and will.

Such dreams are considered by the Jenseits Team as being a so called "wake-up call" for you. In your case the little boy whom your mother had babysitted and then later on whom you took care of, may have established a "deep rooted trust" in you. Maybe this little boy belongs to your "soul family" or it can mean a lot of other things too. This little boy, or rather the soul of this little fella knew that if he contacted you in a lucid dream, that this dream would not let go of you until you got educated to the subject at hand "meaning Life after death", and from what I can tell, it certainly is on your mind, isnt it? I know that the "spirit" of a very dear loving friend of mine contacted me 10 minuites before she had been pronounced physically dead. I was more than amazed!

It makes absolutely NO DIFFERENCE how many years back you have not "seen or heard anything of the little guy", for in the afterlife there is no time, as we know it to be here.

There is a life after death Jetson, I firmly believe this after all the things which have happened to me personally. The journey of learning to comprehend this is a long one, but a very well interesting one.

Sending you loving thoughts - don`t hold back you feelings, you are welcomed to share and NO JETMAN, you`re not going crazy!  Wink

Hugs and caring thoughts of your stage of learning,
Nanner

Hi Jetman, this was no ordinary dream.  When I first read it I suspected you were in an out of body state because you had trouble opening the door.  I find that problems with strength in one of these types of dreams is an indication you are in another reality, not mere dream.  I like Bets' take on it that it all had to do with the manner of death of the boy, like his experience and yours were crossing paths and combining into a shared reality.  Somehow you tapped into what happened to him.

Have you read the Free Articles section on this site?  It should answer a lot of questions you have.

sometimes you can start with a self retrieval, then it helps you understand retrievals of others. I asked guides to do a retrieval in the beginning, then I had a memory flashback of a little kid sitting alone, thought it was somebody else for awhile. turned out to be me!

then again I can't say everybody needs to do self retrievals as maybe it was a great childhood with no truama, thats probably unrealistic.

the main thing is helpful to get a sense of guides to help us get our feet wet. to do this you can start with trusting and using the imagination, later on if they want, they can produce little signs they are with you, but eventually you start doing retrievals without sensing guides in some cases, they want u to be independent thinker.

love, alysia  ps: I read Monroe and Moen's books, got me started in right direction.
