New experience, old theme

Greetings,

Yesterday I had an experience that left me quite changed, happier and 'lighter'-feeling. I'll call it a dream but it was more than that. I'd been painfully moving some furniture so looked forward to an hour of napping to ease up. I seemed to have just lay down when the pain vanished and weightlessness began that then became a lifting sensation. It continued beyond that blissful moment one gets sometimes just when waking/sleeping, so I asked 'Are we going somewhere?'

Energy sparked above my forehead where I believe we have receptors for our Higher Self's communications. 'You will find out. Smiley' It sounded almost playfully happy--unusual in my experience. So up and up we went, then finally stopped. I felt my heart get happy-feeling and guessed "Are we at the Reception Center?" The response seemed almost to stutter, then sounded abit dissappointed at my question. "We are at your place in 'heaven'."

If you are new to this, you may not have read yet about preparing a place for ourselves in the Afterlife. It involves using imagination and gets us more comfortable with the idea of life there. I've drawn sketches of my ideas for up ther,e but never could get Guidance to take me there. So now without asking I got to go there finally, like a surprise vacation!

All I could glimpse was the sunnny meadow color of golden green. I had to ask HS if the tree with the low spreading branches was there, and the stream across the corner of the area for animals to visit. Yes, all the 'natural environement' parts were there, but we would have to make return trips to build the human-made parts, HS explained. Even just the glimpses made me unexplainably happy!

I asked HS if I could please start seeing more and the answer again (I ask this often) was that it takes alot of energy.  Then on the way back we stopped at two homes where the people were not there, one belonged to a previous father of mine, one to a previous mother. I glimpsed that they both had big open areas instead of fully surrounding walls.

Right before we 'landed' I saw two blue ceramic bowls and asked why? They are gifts for holding grain and seed to feed the animals and birds that will come and visit, HS told me.

It's hard to believe how good this makes me feel !  Just want to share it with you and encourage you to start planning your place, if you haven't already.

Love, Bets

Yes, this is beautiful! And even if you can only sometimes have a glimpse at it as long as you're in the physical, you know it's there for you!

Interesting that Guidance said it would take much energy to have a more detailed look at it. Bruces exercises contain an energy rising part, and Robert Bruce says a key factor in having OBE s is to have enough energy for longer trips.

Anyway, great to hear you're happy!

I haven't visited my place. Perhaps it is with my disc/I-there/soul group, and doesn't look like anything in particular. I had the following experience a couple of weeks ago.  My energy level increased and my awareness expanded, until I was like in a PUL bubble.  I shared this bubble with a few spirits I didn't see. One of them said" "Hey there's Albert!" to a few other spirits. It seemed like we were sharing the same bubble of awareness (I didn't see any borders).

I started to feel uncomfortable because my expanded state made it so I couldn't hide some of the egotistical tendencies I haven't let go of. These tendencies were being rude to the other spirits.

Related to this, I had a dream a few days before the above experience. I went into a building that represented my higher self/disc/I-there, and the female members exited as soon as I entered and hid outside behind a wall. I believe the point of the dream was that until I over come lust, I won't be able to experience merger with my higher self/disc.

Interesting Recoverer. In my experiences there are, too, these elements connected: Expansion, bubbles, beings/persons there with me which I don't see but more hear (or think-hear). From what I know, there are different levels to contact the Higher Self, and one is this bubble-thing. It is less visual, and actually to have the best perception of others on that level, I had to expect these others not somewhere around me, but "here", in the same spot as me.

Sounds similar Spooky:

Did the bubble have sort of a liquid feel, without wetness? "Liquid" isn't quite the right word. I've experienced this liquid feeling a number of times during meditation. It leads one to believe that at higher self level, one is solid and not solid at the same time. The experience I shared above is the first time I experienced others sharing the PUL bubble, even though I've had lots of contact.

Cheesy Cheesy That's hard to imagine, Recoverer. Could you give us more info on this intriguing thought? Smiley

I've seen the bubble-beings only a couple of times but never thought to merge with them. In fact I recall I was told to stay back. Is there also any magnetism felt from them? Is it difficult to separate from that fluid quality when you want to leave?

Betson:

I didn't see a bubble being.  It was more like being in a bubble of awareness and PUL. I don't know what shape this bubble was. The feeling I got was that I was sharing one bubble of awareness with my disc/higher self.

Regarding the unpleasant thoughts...well, let me put it this way. One day I was shown a mirror that was broken into about a thousand tiny pieces yet was still intact.  Along with this image I received the words "I had to be an exception."  This combination of messages explained to me why ego like thought patterns had become so alive within me.  Each of us comes into this World with thought patterns that are egotistical in nature. I believe this is partly a physical World survival thing, and partly something that provides us with a duality of mind that provides us with a growth experience. Mainly, we learn to become masters of our creative thought energy, by learning to live according to the thought patterns we want to live by.

In my case barriers of suppression were broken down so I could learn to deal with them and overcome them.  Regarding what I mean by barrier of suppression, consider a mother who raises 8 children and doesn't have anytime for herself. The egotistical self centered part of herself doesn't want her to devote her time in such a giving way. Because she doesn't want to be aware of this unloving part of herself, this part of herself gets suppressed.

Since my suppression levels have gone away, I've had to deal with ego like thought patterns in a more direct way. For example, I'll get a message from my higher self. My ego self doesn't want to have anything to do with a larger me that is beyond my litttle self. So these ego based thought patterns will have irreverent thoughts towards my higher self.  At first I thought,  "what the hell is going on?" After receiving numerous messages through dreams and such, I figured out those egotistical thought patterns aren't really me. They are something I use for a while like my body.

A key part of my spiritual practice is to get better and better at not listening to egotistical thought patterns.  In order to really deal with them, one needs to stop suppressing them. Why suppress something that isn't really you?

One key to not being troubled by egotistical thought patterns is to realize that in your heart of hearts they don't represent how you feel about things. They are just little programs that operate according to their nature. If one judges oneself because of such thought patterns, one just adds fuel to the fire.

Thank you Recoverer,

I think I understand when you say " I figured out those egotistical thought patterns
aren't really me. They are something I use for a while like my body."---that is saying
they are like rungs on a ladder, helpful for getting to the goal, but not so useful after ?

I haven't really *met* any bubble beings either, but I have been shown a surface of bubbles
and was told they were beings and were already where I would be going. I tried to get closer and see them more as people because this happened when I was young and thought people always looked like people.
I said to the Guide that I could see some people in them, thinking I was supposed to see beyond the bubbley aspect, and the Guide said that the hint of human form within the bubble had nothing to do with what I was supposed to learn and only showed up because those had recently returned from our world and still held the thought of what they had been.--I think I was supposed to learn that there were many like me, maybe like the Disk family.

Thanks, Bets

Cool experience Bets! Smiley This is how I imagine things to be. Certainly our true selves have little to do with bodies. What you experienced has reall meaning to me. I also really like what Spooky shared. Thank you for sharing.

The bubble-thing:
(Albert said "fluid") I would say it is like a thin, weak jelly or so. Something is there, and permeates me; although it's more I AM this whole bubble but somehow concentrated in the middle, but as well with a feeling of its far limits. Solid and not solid at the same time, yes it is; it seems more appropriate though, to not stick too much with the solidity, or human-edged-body shape, as this makes it more difficult to perceive or experience it at all. The bubbles I sometimes have seen from the outside, looking like soap-bubbles and little ones inside of a larger one etc., so on these occasions it seems to indicate a hierarchy. Sometimes I feel to be inside a large, round "something" with some sparks playing a game, flying. I think I belong to them.
Looks like a common thing when I read you two Bets and Albert lol!

Spooky:

Yeah, like thin Jelly, only not sticky.  I haven't checked out the borders.  I have had meditations where my awareness really expanded, and a lot was contained within it.  No jelly effect on these occasions. The jelly effect came later.  My belief is that we can be aware of as much as we allow ourselves to be aware of. If we insist on thinking of ourselves as body based beings, we really limit ourselves.

I haven't seen any bubbles, even though my guidance has used bunches of grapes in a symbolic way.
