Hey everyone,
just the same old question. Who/What sets the rules? Destiny or free will? Both?
Some believe that everything that happens during this lifetime is destiny, it happened, because it was meant to be. Some others believe, that things that seem to be like destiny, are nothing more than "happy" accidents. To speak of free will choice...how much determined can we be according to the believe, that we can chose via free will. If I believe that I have a (total) free will, the two things that limit this, are birth and death. So the things that happen during the period between being born and to die are not destiny, but are incidents, the free will gives us the opportunity to pass this incidents according to how we want it to be (I know in "real life" some of these incidents require compromises, to get the best possible for everyone who is involved), the other choice, not to do so (but missing chances is wasting time). To speak of destiny, it has always the suspicious touch of not wanting to do/risk something, because everything that happens because of destiny could never be changed (that is the meaning of destiny), no matter what one does. That is, in fact, the nature of destiny. There is always some kind of believing involved, someone who sets the rules for the believers, the believers accept their destiny, serve the purpose of the one setting the rules, thinking it can be done any way else.
Or is it gate number three, a mix of both of the two, having a destiny and being able to use free will choice? That would mean, there are happenings in mind of the "someone setting the rules", and it is up to you how to solve this problems, solving it in a "good" way, means to serve the purpose and destiny by free will choice, or solving it in a "bad" way, so to say to fail for what you where sent here, to "drift" away from the someone setting the rules.
Just another crooked approach.
Love,
