Below are some possible explanations within double quotation marks.
If anyone would like to take a gander at what my dream last night meant, I'd be interested to hear what ya think.
Every now and again I'll dream about Jesus or have a dream where I'm in His presence and I had one last night. It was more strange and bizzare than happy and comforting like I'm used to:
In the dream I was in church and I was there with many people. I was doing volunteering during non-service hours like cleaning up, straightening up the pews- helping in that sort of way. There were really tall green trees and other greenery on the altar and their branches reached almost all the way up to the cross. In Catholic churches the crucifix is pretty high up so I remember thinking in the dream that the trees/greenery were way too much and were a real distraction. Usually there are a couple of small arrangements and candles up there so all this greenery was just totally out of place.
""The below is from the Gospel of John:
"15:5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing. 15:6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 15:7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 15:8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and so shall ye be my disciples. 15:9Even as the Father hath loved me, I also have loved you: abide ye in my love. 15:10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. 15:11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. 15:12This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you. 15:13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 15:14Ye are my friends, if ye do the things which I command you. 15:15No longer do I call you servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I heard from my Father, I have made known unto you. 15:16Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 15:17These things I command you, that ye may love one another. "
The Gospel of John basically states that God created the universe through Christ. Therefore, everything that takes place Christ knows about. The foilage you saw was a symbolic way of expressing that the beingness of Christ connects to all of life within this World.""
Suddenly (floating) I found myself way up in front and off to the side of crucifix, almost eye level with Jesus as he hung on the cross up there. And then, to my astonishment, Jesus's face became alive and full of expression. His eyes were still closed and He still looked like a white, marble statue, but He started shaking His head from side to side slowly and He had a horrible look of pain and suffering. His eyebrows were furrowed and his forehead was crinkling up, and his mouth - everything was the expression of intense pain and suffering. I was hurting for Him and I didn't know what to do, and I did know why He was doing this, etc.
""This could mean that Christ is unhappy with what he experiences in this World. He experiences all of the negativity. He wants us to live according to love. Going by the messages I receive, we can each help increase the amount of love there is in the World, simply by allowing ourselves to feel it. Radiate love rather than whatever.""
Then the dream was over. I've never had a dream like that where Jesus was ever upset or looked hurt before. I wonder what I'm supposed to take away from it?
Thanks for any ideas.
