Hi Juditha,

The news of England's floods is in the headlines here. We hear your government is much quicker and more efficient in offering its citizens help, much more than ours has been.
Here, people in Louisiana and along the Gulf are still hoping for help from Hurricane Katrina, from two years ago.
In the USA on the south east coast, we have droughts. California has alot of wildfires from overly dry conditions.
Texas is flooding --- some of us think that Mother Nature is trying to wash Texas (Pres. Bush's home state.)  Wink

I do hope you and your loved ones are safe and will soon be comfortable again.

Love, Bets

Yes, I think global warming is changing some people's lives already. It does sound like England is having a tough time right now, Juditha.

Here in central Texas we have had almost two straight months of rain. Yesterday we had the lowest temperature ever recorded for July 25. Normally we have practically no rain after June. Where I live it is usually hot and dry.

I don't think this is all due to global warming, but some weather patterns may be changing now nonetheless.

Are you in Texas,
blink!?
For some reason I thought you were in England too!
Maybe it was your taste for tea and crumpets?
