Ive been having a recurring dream theme lately and I cant figure it out for the life of me.  As some of you may know I am in Brazil.  Coming here was the best choice of my life because it reunited me with my once girlfriend and now fiance.  Before coming here I was very nervous about the travel.  I was scared that I would miss the plane, that I would get to the airport in Brazil and not know where to go because they all speak portuguese, that I would get robbed at the airport in Sao Paulo, amoung other petty worries that were intensified in my mind because of how important this trip was for me.

That is just some background info so you can possibly better interpret my dreams.

The dreams I would have involve me traveling to Brazil.  In my dreams, I am still in the United States.  In these dreams, I am about to go to Brazil.  I am packing my bags, I am taking cabs to the airport, I am arriving at the airport, I am doing somthing in these dreams that I would normally do in the begining of my travel.  However, somethine would ALWAYS happen which would prevent me from going to Brazil.  In some of the dreams I would forget what day the plane was and miss the flight.  In some of the dreams I would show up to the airport a few minutes late and miss my flight.  In some of the dreams I would show up at the airport and realise that I left my bags in the cab. 

I understand that these dreams most likely symbolize my fear of screwing up my trip.  However, what I dont understand is why I am having them when I am already in Brazil, when the travel has been a success and I know that everything went fine.  I am thinking that perhaps these dreams symbolize somthing else in my life, but I am having a hard time deciding what.  Any help would be appreciated.

Yes Alysia is right I think. That the dream is showing problems getting to Brazil while you're already in Brazil probably is because your subconscious just took this as example, as illustration of a general fear, or if not fear, an anxiety, or doubt, if this is all right as it is now, or if you're doing wrong, or if you miss something important, if you can do the job. Maybe this is just because you're not yet familiar with your situation/surrounding there and dreams/doubts/anxiety will vanish with time. Or perhaps this dream is pointing at something deeper, a longlasting trait of your personality to look at.
I had very similar dreams, and I'm a person who is just thinking and worrying too much, seeing difficulties everywhere, so maybe something of this you too know from your personality. But you don't seem so, I might add.
