feeling sick before sleep question
Jun 18th, 2007 at 9:20am

hi although this isn't about a dream, i have a question about before i go to sleep,  quite often when i am in my bed and just about to go to sleep i start to feel really sick and dizzy, i sometimes have images and have even heard a spirit on my stairs call out mum i have also seen the outline of this spirit on the stairs through the reflection on my tv so i know he's there, i'm wondering is it just my body feeling sick or could it be something my senses are picking up the spirits around me before i go to sleep,

i often get woke up in the night and i know it's something being in the house that has woken me, i had a spirit figure by my bed one time when i woke and assumed it was my daughter at the time but as i switched on my lamp the figure disappeared so i know there are spirits around me, i also have faces come at me when i close my eyes like i had a clear image of two girls then a few weeks later had a dream about the very same girls who i don't know who they are, also i had a vision of a man at my bedroom door and a vision of a baby (my daughter is pregnant) these images are like really quick flashes in my mind lasting only a second or two can anyone help me understand why this is happening is it spiritual or just imagination? Dear LadyEllie,

So nice to see you back ! Unfortunately the reasons are not so pleasant for you.
It is spiritual, Ellie, and not just imagination. You are awakening to your spiritual self and getting glimpses of the other side, it seems.  Congratulations!  Smiley
When you get past your initial fears (that are now apparently enough to make you feel ill), you will enjoy enhanced understanding of the love that binds us all together. You can then use the power of this love to help any spirits that seek help, and also to meet loved ones who have passed on, eventually even retrieving strangers who are on the other side needing help.
It's worth it to give up the fear to your Helpers, Angels, Guidance (whatever you want to call them.) They are there waiting for you to take your next step.
I know it's worth it to give up the fears because I had to too.

Smiley Bless you,  Bets

Thank you Bets for your explanation, i am aware but yes i'm quite afraid of what i will get if i embrace it as you can imagine, i have been told several times from different people i do have the gift of clairaudience but i need to open up more and accept it, but that's easier said than done, is it really as easy as that to ask the spiritual guides, angels etc and they will help me understand and remove the fear i obviously have?, I have dreamt of deceased people and known they are dead in mydream which i presume is a spirit visitation dream, i'm quite excited as well that i might be able to contact the people in the afterlife without fear, sounds silly now but how do i ask these guides to take the fear is it through thought or saying it out loud any advice to overcome the next step would be gratefully received thank you

Hi,

I can't foresee what route you will take but I wish you well and hope you will keep going.  Try 'pretending' to talk with a guide or angel; very soon the conversation will no longer be you pretending, but the answers will come from Spirit and will amaze you with their truth and love!  Imagining is a gateway.

Love, Bets

Hi Ellie,
I second Bets, ask for or pretend a helper is there, it worked for me and Bruce tells for others it works too, surprisingly easy.

About consciousness states when going to sleep, I have usually three states before I fall asleep:
1. I lay me down, tired; this is very soft, relieving, joyful.
2. Much thought activity starts, about the day, and about everything
3. Then there is the entering sleep phase: Sometimes many pictures/scenes enter my mind, only glimpses, very fast; sometimes fear comes up of entities in my appartment or in my room; voices I hear, short, sometimes loud, sometimes it brings me back to the former "thinking"-phase 2. This active phase number 3 I have only sometimes, after some days it becomes less active. It's probably that your normal waking consciousness is still there to some degree while you already have opened up to other realities than the physical-waking state reality.

Spooky
