  I was with another man and a woman.  We were on the back of an open bed, large truck.  We were all chained together, as though prisoners.

open bed, a place where the mind is open, a truck bed carries ideas from place to place; chained together, you are a part of something, as in a group situation, prisoners connect the thought of the opposite, freedom.

There was a saw on board.  This was a very large truck.  The saw was like the ones used to strip the bark off trees, in preparation for cutting as in a lumber mill.

a lot of work is going on. stripping something is the preparation for the work, or stripping something can reveal what's underneath, as in honesty, or truth. a tree is a part of nature, a building block also of our homes which provide shelter.

The other man went through the saw and his arms were cut off.  There wasn't any blood though and he seemed to be in no pain.

no blood letting and no pain seem to say, its just a process and won't be as bad as at first glance when it happens to this person, who is either an aspect of yourself, or is someone you know.

The woman and I were chained together and we decided to use the saw to cut the chains.  She was frightened, but I convinced her to do this.  We placed our arms with the chains close to the saw, and she did get cut, but again, no blood, no pain.
We were all seperate then and knew we needed to get off the truck.

It stopped for some reason and we jumped down.  I seemed to be a sort of leader, not as in of higher rank, rather one who took charge.

again the ability to take charge of a situation, like in an emergency, which this dream portrays, you can keep your cool, someone always steps forth in an emergency who is qualified.

We begin walking down the road, its dark out and there are no lights, like a country road or back road.

the truck bed is open, the country is open country, I see the connections to the symbols. a back road is not the main thoroughfare, so your path is on the back roads, but it shows individuality as opposed to say, congested streets.

As we are walking, we see police cars pass, chasing a pickup.  I tell the other two to get to the side of the road, where there was some grass growing, about 2ft tall.  Not really a good "hiding" place, but hoping to blend in.  We sat with our knees bent, siesta style, with our heads down, on top of knees.

apparently hiding right at this time seems to be the only course of action, the group puts its head down for a rest period, to hide. keep in mind this is a run for freedom from something.

As it seemed we would be ignored, a police man approached.  I was in the middle of the other two, the armless man on my right, the woman on my left.  The officer picked up the sleeve of armless and asked about his arm.  Armless wasn't too bright and replied that his arm was "dead weight" and didn't work anymore.

seems like armless has no appendages anymore with which to pick something up. but he still believes he has dead weigtht of the arms. this is what can happen in reality. a person can lose a foot, or an arm and yet still "feel" the appendage is still there. I think it's because the astral appendage is still there, that's what they feel.
whatever is not working in Armless's life is up for him to reflect on, but the more I think about this, the less I think Armless is an aspect of you. you are more like an observer out in front, and you also noted that you were in the "middle", like taking a middle path.

The officer laughed and called to his partner that we needed a doctor, the man thought his arm was still there, something was wrong.

policeman are to me, a symbol of guides being in service, to protect and serve as their motto calls for anyway. the laughter is a release of tension, negative energy perhaps is expelled and another guiding influence is called for, a doctor to right the wrong.

I knew we needed to get out of there, but did not know why.

thats good self guidance; to "get out of there." it would be say to yourself, it's your choice to get out of there as there's no need to be a prisoner anymore, when freedom is just down the open road.

The other dream was somewhat work related..someone who worked with us was really a "bad guy" and wanted by the police.  Then it morphed into who got which children...mine were those whose numbers were in the 790's..that one made little sense to me.

Actually..armless made little sense to me, other than as a possible retrieval?

it is sort of like a retrieval, as whenever I see hospital workers, social workers, policeman and such in a dream I consider them guides conveying a message.
somebody who is wanted by the police, has actually set up their own reality to be caught by the police, like cause and effect in a way.
the children are those thoughts, embodied which can grow to be adults and most of us have childish thoughts also. so children can mean several things. dividing up the children seems to be a bit or organizing going on which doesn't seem like organizing is necessarily negative nor positive, it's just something that needs to be done.

the numbers always stumps me. I usually add them together; 7 plus 9 = 16. then I take and add 6+1=7.

then you can check a numerology book and see what it says about the number 7.

or sometimes you can think it stands for a date like July 9th.
if it's a date, that means you have to wait and see what happens on that date. if it's more symbolic of a state of mind, or a situation with relationships, you can study numbers as related to consciousness or spiritual growth and sometimes a number will have significance way down the road.
I'm still trying to figure out why my subconscious dream language gave me 1:18 as the time of birth for my book, as I saw myself pregnant and giving birth at 1:18.

I thought the number would mean Jan.18. on Jan. 18 my book rep was fired; wierd huh? but on March 13 the actual thing popped out, or I gave birth. so maybe, events were purposeful that I couldn't give birth until they gave me a new book rep.
I really dread reading up on what numbers mean...seems hard work!

however, it is a somewhat mathematical universe...
