the secret and so on
Mar 25th, 2007 at 1:21pm

I am writing a new thread on this subject(s).

The Secret, The Bleep and so on are basically infomercials. Yes they are viable material but they are carrots offering illusions. The Presenters, in the glitzy documentaries, are making the monies on this by advertising their wares. This may sound like blasphemy. but, alas, it is the truth.

Keylonta and other such sites (or whatever) are for those who need diversions to learn what the Belief Systems are all about. These topics allow for creating great science fiction/fantasy type realms to expand one's repetoire of illusions. How can one understand the difference between an illusion and a truth if one hasn't experienced both? Thats why it is ok to stop in one of the Belief System areas as one's development is based on experience.

There is quite a difference between a great expansive wordy illusion and an offering of a truth. The illusion will be picked everytime. I have seen this so often. Bruce Moen's book 'Afterlife Knowledge Guidebook' is a tool to use to gain experience within. Yet there are many other books people will choose that offer silly stuff that are merely grandiose stuff that offer only manure. This manure will be chosen over the Afterlife book any day because people don't want to activate parts of theselves. They want to sit and dabble with toys of worthless nature and sit in clouds of unknowing as illusions are needed to understand the truths. Again I repeat 'I have seen this so often'.

Coming from a weird background as I have is rather hazardous as I have become something of an oddity. Unwillingly I went to an Institute for 3 months. Unwillingly because out of sheer coincidence I was given a pamphlet which opened that door to the Institute. One of the groups was the Enlightenment Intensive. The EI (Enlightenment Intensive) brought about 10 years of Zen enlightenment and put that into about 3 or 4 days. I did not expect the EI. What the EI brought to me was so profound of a change that I will never ever be the same again. What happened here is that instead of 1 or 2 koans answered in Direct Experience I answered about 11 or 12 koans in Direct Experience  which literally stunned the Instructor as he was running out of koans for me to Experience. I was running to the dictionary to find out what I was coming up with in these  strange words.

[coincidence are opportunites that are unseen yet when manifested become an experience to add to our experiences in life.]
[koans: Japanese for questions such as Who am I? What am I? and so on.]

I mention the experience with the EI because of the fact that illusions to me stick out like a sore thumb. I see the Secret, for instance, as a basic carrot before the horse because that is exactly what it is. The Secret is really great to lead people into more if thats what they want, but thats all. The Law of Attraction won't do what it is suppose to do unless one is truly in luck. Bill Harris spoke how the Law of Attraction may do something totally different. You want more monies? Sure thing... a university opening becomes available that offers a 10 year course that will make one $100,000 per year. But the cost of that university fees are $250,000 when one is through the course. So what has one gained? a loss?

Bob Monroe mentioned the Belief Systems which is a basic warning where not to go. The Belief System prevent one from taking their baggage beyond a certain point. Does one truly want to stop in Another person's state of illusion just to stupefy themselves? Bob Monroe and Bruce Moen offer tools to go beyond the Belief Systems if they aren't attached to any illusions. Doing Retrievals isn't just to get the stuck deceased out of trouble. Retrievals are to get one into a state where one gets experience to go beyond one's own state of limitations. Getting in touch with the Helpers are very important as that could be leverage to catapult one beyond one's former limitations.

I have offered several areas one can link to on the net. Does one want to go beyond and find those?

I will offer another tidbit:
The Secret is severly limited despite it may help others to move on. What The Secret doesn't offer is the tools to get into those states they wish people to do. What The Secret left out, besides Esther Hicks, is the 'Master Key' by Charles Haanel (Kallisti Publishing). The 'Master Key' can be gotten free of charge off the Kallisti website.

I don't offer these links because of the nature of the offerings. Yet the offerings can allow one to go beyond their own limitations and possibly open doors up. Do people really want the tools to shed their baggage and go beyond the Belief System? Use at your own risk. You may change for the better.

To close I will give an example of one who is stuck and one who is not:
When I was with the TMI IRC chat group (1998) I met many people including Skip Atwater, Dr Darlene Miller and Shirley Blighley (dolphin healing).

One such person I will never forget is B4midnight. He was a very interesting character who was a veteran obe traveller. One night we were alone and he told me this story ( and I hope it is ok to share this):

"B4 had one friend that he had to be very careful with. No books or whatever on any form of the esoteric nature was to be out in the open as B4's friend would really get upset. One day this friend came over and discovered a book accidently left out and this friend went into his usual tirade and got after B4 for having such junk. So B4 said to himself 'I will teach you a lesson one day'.

That 'one day' came and B4 went out of his body and went over to his friends place. B4 pulled his friend out his body and asked 'where to go'. They went to a friend's place, in the obe state. Here was his friend, in the physical, sitting with friends drinking and watching a hockey game. B4 knew exactly what to do next. He awoke from the obe state and phoned his belligerent friend. His belligerent friend no doubt was slammed back into his body immediately.

[my note: be very careful with this as it is extremely dangerous and can injure someone greatly. Also never pull another out of the body like B4 did as that too can cause repercussions like karma and can harm.]

Yes the 'other' friend was drinking with friends and yes, even though the hockey season was finished, they were watching a hockey game which was originally videotaped.

The belligerent friend never called back (not sure if this was permanent or not)"

Be careful with illusions and the Belief Systems. They limit and give one experiences of limitations. Are the links an experience you need? Is the hints of the links here, in this post, something you really want to move toward a goal you need?

TMI can answer these question via the travelling they offer.

[This author of this post is not offering anything as such.  Tools are offered. Do you want tools?]

very interesting stuff Within, and welcome to our world here Smiley  I don't have much to say about the topics you present but I enjoy reading them. I believe it's true pulling someone out of body can be going against the grain unless the two are very close friends. mainly because we can't do something against another's will usually without then being responsible for what happens...(the best laid plans of mice and men go...)

welcome again. we are a friendly group.

Thanks for the welcome.

I have been on the Afterlife forum just before the change over in 1998 I believe it was.  Other projects diverted me from going through with the changes that occurred to the Afterlife forum. I also have been in contact, via email, with Bruce at that time.

Greetings,

I'm borrowing your title, Within, to post a link:

www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/g/a/2007/05/07/findrelig.DTL

The leader of The Unity Church that was referred to in the movie "The Secret", "RevMO" is interviewed about spirit and that church's approach to spirit in a Sanfrancisco newspaper.  Alot of their beliefs correspond to topics we discuss frequently.
