Goodness sakes alive, it's Clive!
Jan 27th, 2007 at 10:49pm

Greetings,

I believe this topic came up about a half year ago, but maybe some newbies might enjoy the humor of our guides and/or interpretors.  This isn't important, just sort of strange---

Recently I realized that I hadn't done anything lately for my interest in the environment and decided to spend some time on it, but I didn't, yet. So last night I dreamt that I was sitting in a waiting room when a blonde/balding man came in with saws and a ladder. He was wearing lumberjack shirt and lumberjack boots. He gave me an impatient look and called me a sloth.  Embarrassed Cry  Someone called him Clive and then introduced me to his wife,  a Mrs. Anton or Anson, a slender brunette.

That's all, but it was so vivid that I played with it today. I thought of any Clives I've heard of (not many) and came up with Clive Anderson, a British TV MC  who had a show here in the US too a few years ago. He looked like the man in the dream. So I learned that sound-alikes for Anderson could be Anton or Anson, and I thought that lesson was the purpose of the dream.
But just now I've googled Clive Anderson and find that he's the president of a forestry conservation group in Britain. So that's why the lumberjack outfit! Smiley
On his show he was always in a suit and tie and never spoke about the environment.

It seems like Guidance or Interpretor went to all the trouble to set up that little scenario just to emphasize my intent to get  involved in environmental issues again.
But why did they cast it with someone I can barely remember?

If you live in Britain, have you ever seen photos of Clive Anderson's wife? If she's a slender brunette, then what's happening here?

Just wonderring,
Bets
