Your post seems sort of quiet!

Perhaps you've received a personal message now from a willing soul. A retrieval needs a last name too so that would be something that should not be public, just as you have done.  I do hope you are getting such information exchanged.

If not, I know of two reasons why I no longer do check-ups or retrievals for a particular recently deceased soul, and I can share those with you as perhaps why volunteers are not numerous:
When I was first starting I did a check-up, using a name and a date of death. I met the subject and came back with a description and an answer that the requester said was completely accurate. But then the requester developed some doubt and I was asked to go again, so I did and saw the same lady. I brought back information from that meeting and then he thought of something else he wanted to confirm...... so if a person doesn't do it themselves, will they ever be convinced?
In a visit for my own relative I ran into a lower focus level and alot of frantic anger from that soul. I'm newish at this and was unprepared. That means fear came into it and overcame the love, not surprising since I feared that soul here in our earthly life too. So now I ask Guidance only for retrievals that they think I can accomplish and learn from. I let them set the time and soul. Generally then I am just a soul that can break through the defences of a soul who's probably ready to look for a way out, not one so upset that their energy field is frantic.
I find in looking around that many of the true retrievers are off doing retrievals and are not doing as much 'education/outreach' here on the boards.
Marcela, if I can do this retrieval business, anyone can. I'd urge you to just ask Guidance for an easy contact sometime when you can take a nap, so that you won't be bothered. If you're not ready, they won't send you. But take a step forward and see what happens.  You are a dearheart to be concerned about your friends.

hi Marcela and Bets. I found that if a person has any kind of bond with the retrievee, such as you used to work with those fellows, thats a connection if not a bond. its then easier for the retriever to, so to speak, take care of their own, rather than asking another more experienced retriever to do it, although we all need some help in this area and you are not wrong to ask for help.  when others use to ask me to help I sometimes did years ago and I was led to as there were some very good verifications passed back and forth and I made a few friendships this way. it was rewarding for me that way, only if I could get them to start picking up their own verification otherwise they wouldn't grow just to take my word.

so I'm saying what Bets said. only in different words.  Lol. I've got a story about C.

a ghost sat on his bed and his wife was freaked so bad he called on me from this board.well not me specifically, but to the board. I kept seeing his post and not one person responded and I couldn't stand it!!   so we started working together by pm.

the ghost was a relative on his wife's side. I ended up retrieving her by a dreamstate process and she was not a troublemaker. she was a lonely ghost is all.

working with C was fun only because he started bringing in his own verifications...I asked him to.  he was a private person, never even used real names, so a name doesn't mean much in spirit land. anyhoo he didn't really know whether to trust me, and why should anyone trust anyone?  so one day he came up with my given name which I stopped using back in the 70's.  freaked me!!  he had been surfing to see if he should work with me, and I wanted him to do this. so it was a working relationship on both sides.   His job was to sooth his wife's fears and I think he got around to that at some point as well he said after the retrieval the ghost had not come back.

how retrievals occur is to sit down and imagine one. how you want it to turn out, sets up a scene in the astral the retrievee is attracted to thought forms of well wishers in which their name is mentioned, its as easy as standing in one place and pointing to the light, see the light doorway and say we are entering it together. a two minute concentration on a best scenario will help the same way a prayer would help.

then release the concern. by releasing, you are demonstrating faith.  ACIM says a healer does not have to repeat the healing, so when you retrieve you are healing something. you heal, then you don't go back to the scene to look for illness. faith is to see it healed.  thanks again Marcela for being here. love, alysia
