I met my guide in my dream
Sep 29th, 2006 at 8:18am

Hi everyone! I recently bought the first Bruce book “Voyages into the Unknown" I am fascinated with it. I am reading it very slowly to capture every bit of information. One of the things that I wanted is to practice finding my hands on my dream which could help me to know that I was dreaming and be aware of it. Well, last night or this morning very early I had a dream where people were sitting down in a waiting room. I was talking to someone and suddenly I remembered to look for my hands. Oh my Gosh! When I found them I knew I was in a dream. I can’t express the excitement I felt in words. As soon as I was aware of it, I said in a loud voice “where is my guide?!” “I am looking for my guide!” Well, between the people a man appeared. He is of dark but not to dark skin (I think is mate skin, if mate is the right word, I’m still learning English) I looked at him and I asked him “Are you my guide?” He said, “You found me, congratulations you found yourself, your higher self.” I asked him, “What is your name?” He gave me a piece of paper to read. I could not understand some of the words on that piece of paper, I only read “a~` Gordon” A few days ago I asked myself in what language my guide would speak to me, he used English to talk to me and I don’t know what language in the piece of  paper. After I knew his name I hug him and I said “I love you!!!!!!” I was so happy of what has just happened to me that I wanted for everyone in that room know about my guide, but suddenly I run to a person( a woman) sitting down next to other woman. They were talking. When I approached to her I said hi and I told her that she reminded me an actress or a personality of TV. She said to me that she was not a celebrity. Well, we started to chat about thing I do not remember. When I got up this morning at 5:15 am to help with my husband’s lunch for work this day, I told him “oh my God I just realize that I was aware of my dream! I knew I was dreaming!” But I just stopped right there because my husband does not share my beliefs for the afterlife knowledge, not yet. I was so happy that I wanted to tell everyone! One thing I can tell you is that after I told my husband about it I felt very weird. Is like I was still dreaming. In that moment I asked my husband if I was awake or I was still in my dreams, he said “don’t be silly…”
Well… I am more than happy and I wanted to share this happiness with you guys who are the one who understand about this issue. I have to go because I want to read Bruce book. I love you, chau! And God bless you!

Much happiness, Marcela!
I am certainly very happy for you!
To have found your guide must mean you are on the path to even more revelations--congratulations!

Thank you for sharing Marcela. Perhaps you felt funny after sharing with your husband because your becomming adjusted to a new way of thinking. Such adjustments can happen in increments. As you continue to read Bruce's books you'll see that he had to go through some adjustment periods. A part of your mind might not be willing to admit that you have a higher self. This part of you doesn't want to become aware of a larger you.

Hi Marcela, I can feel your enthusiasm and I can relate. Smiley  have had many dreams similar where I realize I am dreaming...there are times when I am in waking consciousness and ask the same question "am I dreaming now?"  it is, I believe a world wide shift occurring..many will think you are cracked Roll Eyes  just follow your enthusiasm and I know it's hard to have a partner who you can't share your journey with as he is resistant, but that is the reason we have partners who resist your sharing yourself, your dreams, as they are slowly observing you and growing into their own awareness that it's true, C1 is not the be all and end all, that's for certain! or rather, maybe I should say a blanket statement change is absolute. so count on it. it does preclude boredom, these times we live in. glad to share my journey with you and vice versa. eagerly looking forward to hearing what you might have to say about Voyages Into The Unknown. frankly, I couldn't put it down.
maybe we could discuss the book in the book forum next time you want to, although I found you here in dreams and I think I could find your vibration whereever you decide to post! Smiley  feel free in other words, I just love discussing points in the books with you and all and was hoping to get some regular traffic over there someday. Wink

about your guide: there is a friend of mine and a friend of this board and Bruce who wrote a book called "Eternal Life How To Enjoy it."  he spends a great deal of his sleeping life surfing the area to assist others in his higher self which I believe he is merged with. his name is Gordon Phinn, and he has also acted as guide for myself and many others, both here in C1 and also in the astral areas of the sleep state. don't know if this is your Gordon but felt compelled to make a comment about Gordon. please put it on your list of reading material and tell me what u think! but of course I would want u to read all of Bruce's first if I had my way as they are like sequential story lines.
looking forward to your next post..love, alysia

Thank you so much guys for your words! Betson, for sure I'll be waiting for more revelations you can bet on it Grin. Thank you for being happy for me.
Recoverer, you are right I am thinking differently since I started to learn about the afterlife knowledge and because I am reading Bruce's book which help me to understand a lot of thing that had happened in my past, like certain dreams or encounters with people that wanted to lead me to the knowledge and meaning of life, etc. I have to teach myself to accept that there is a higher self within me. Thank you for your support Recoverer!
Alysia, does the Gordon you know match the description I gave of him? Short hair, brown skin, dark eyes? he is also thin(but not to much, just average) And for sure I'll be looking for his book, after I finished with Bruce's books of course. Thanks again Alysia, love and gratitude to all of you! Wink

Veery good Marcela! To awake and stay sleeping is a really powerful experience, and you even were aware enough to ask for your guide, and even more, he not said you've found him, but that you found yourself, your higher self. This is indicating to me you have thought about who and what you are for quite a longer while.
You have a notebook in which you write down those experiences?

Sorry Spooky it took me so long to answer you. No, I do not have a notebook with anything I have been experiencing. I am going to start to write them down. Yes, I think is a good way to remember the experiences to let yourself know that  it is not a fantasy or something that you mind made up. Thanks Spooky!
