two retrievals
Sep 28th, 2006 at 3:19pm

was in the shower I use as a meditation chamber and thought I haven't done any retrievals lately as I'm so busy. so set my intention and looked for a visual, saw one and pushed it away to see if it would come back. it did so I went with it.
a farm boy sits on top of a tall building getting ready to make a leap off into death.
it was a little unbelievable to me but I went with it and decided I'd deal with the doubts later. I learned this technique from Bruce's books. I surrounded the boy with a mother love and sat down next to him trying not to look down as I don't like heights.
he was loudly sobbing so I plunged in with my agenda. we had a conversation:
me: what in the world are u doing up here sitting?
Boy: mom and dad are fighting! they're breaking up! dad won't get me the car I wanted but he promised! he says I don't work hard enough in the fields! my whole world is falling apart!
Me: how old are you?
Boy: 16  (I place my arms around him so that he feels safer.
Me: If u live on a farm how did u get here and where are we?
Boy: this is Oklahoma City. I stole my dad's pickup. I knew about this tall building and I'm going to jump!
Me: what is your name dear?
Boy: Johnny Pepperidge. (I go into a doubt phase this is real for a minute, but continue with the retrieval.)
Me: Johnny, what if you already jumped and you're dead and reliving this moment?
Boy: thats impossible! I'm going to do it though!
Me: (I change my tactic) Johnny, its going to be all right. I want u to turn around and look at who is here. Johnny looks over his shoulder and his mom and dad are standing there with light around them and they are no longer fighting but joined to look for their son and happy they find him.
Boy: Mom! Dad! you found me!
the parents: Where have you been? We've been looking high and low for you ever since you disappeared! don't u know we love you and you're all that matters to us now?  the boy and the parents do a group hug and walk away together. it seems to me the parents passed on also but I didn't know for sure. I asked them if I could trail along behind to see where they went but the parents said they wanted privacy right now as a family but they thanked me profusely for getting the boys attention and bringing them all together again. I said I understood and wished them well.
______

there was a Cathy to retrieve next. Cathy Boone. I am not going to look up death certificates for these names as I'm not pursuing verification these days.
too time consuming and need dates to do that and can get names spelled wrong due to interpretor. I'm a lazy retriever also.  Cathy's body was stuffed into a bowling alley place where one alley was blocked off. went into this is unbelievable phase again but decided to go with this one too what unfolded. I pulled her out and set her on her feet and started asking a few questions.
Cathy: looking around dazed and out of it as might be expected.
Me: hi hon. taking a little nap?
Cathy: oh, ah, where am I? I don't have my wits about me...
Me: you have a uniform on, do you do cocktails here?
Cathy: oh yes! I was bringing a cocktail to the boss...(grows confused)
I get the whole story what happened. she was young and had a boyfriend. efficient and cute and the manager took a liking or a lusting for her but she didn't see it coming his mean streak. he asked her to sit down for coffee with him once and she did and he made a play for her and from then on she avoided him. he thought he had authority over her because he was proud he was the manager. one day he called to the lounge to have Cathy bring him a cocktail to the back of the bowling alley. he hit her on the head and thats the last thing she remembered. he stuffed her in the hidden crawl space and there she remained until the body was discovered.
Next I told her we were going to her parents house as they missed her badly.
I saw her father's face in front of his refrigerator as he opened it. I traced the lines on his handsome sad face. he was very old now. Cathy tried to talk to him, she was all excited and overjoyed to see him. he couldnt hear her and so I said I'd help her get through. the old man sits at the table a bowl of food he stares into, he whispers sadly "Cathy..my dear lovely Cathy...I've lost you." Dad! I'm Here!  I tell Cathy to shout it with energy. Dad! I'm alive! I notice he's listening. Cathy, he says this again. child, are you there?  the wife and mother of Cathy walks in the kitchen, the man says to her I believe Cathy was just here! the wife feels this is true also. a guide appears then, a lady guide for Cathy to take her to focus 27. I'd really like to stay here Cathy says. the guide speaks that visits will be ok but its time to move on with her life now that her parents feel she's ok. just for a second I see 3 spirits embrace warmly before Cathy goes with her guide. Very good Alysia.  I too sometimes get names and been able to verify a couple.  But like you its too difficult sometimes.  I am beginning to just trust what I'm getting and KNOW that this is my truth.

Hi Romain..in the beginning bout 5 years ago I was practicing doing 2 a week. I asked Bruce how many he did a week as I used him to learn from, the same question you are asking now. I soon stopped regimenting myself as concerning this as I got advice from this board, also from Bruce, I should start doing other kinds of explorations as well. so what I did was make a little intention. I talk to guides in my head. I told them I was always available if I were suited to do a certain kind of retrieval that they thought I was suited for. I had heard that retrievals can get progessively challenging and I was up for that if I was led there. I think you are in a good place if you don't plan it and let it happen. as I relaxed into "this is real" and I want to help if I can attitude, I began spontaneously retrieving not the dead, but the living. these were people I had disagreements with in C1. I called them retrievals because I went out to find peace of mind for us or sometimes just to look at our problems closer with communication problems and when I did this I would often find the child hiding inside of the adult and we would talk out there...what a trip, huh?

no I don't normally do retrievals these days but credit doing them to lead me to these other retrievals of the living. these last two I did hoping we could get some people interested to do them who have never tried it as it could be a doorway into the other dimensions of spirituality..I'm sure of that I mean to say, it worked that way for me. and you must have guides too Romain, I found out everybody does have guides. even my nieghbor had a guide. when I go out I see guides everywhere, sometimes they are in disquise though.
it seems to me everybody has different talents for retrieving a certain type of person and you would know where you could be helpful, like disaster areas, or one on one. I do well with kids I think, but I don't want to limit myself so I just leave it up to guidance and say I'm willing, ready when you are! Smiley

I think since I believe I am somebody else, a religious person in another life which is still happening, theres like two of me, or two energies going on inside me which have nearly completely merged into one personage by now since I'm done with the book. anyhow, this preacher fellow would say to pray this: "where would you have my feet go? What would you have my voice say? What would you have my hands to do?"

and this is what I would affirm before any retrieval or exploration or incorporate this affirmation into my attitude so I wouldn't have to think about what to do next..I'd just sit there waiting and like you, it just happens sooner or later. love to you dear light, don't be asking me advice, lol, you'll get the longest ramble you ever heard every time! take what u can and toss the rest love!

Totally agree...advise and the longest rambel...lol...just kidding dear one..love ya.

That's exactly what i do ...take what a need at the moment from what i do read for my advancement/analyse it, take what resonate with myself and toss the rest.
If it does work, whatever i used, i will keep on using it until something else come along, if it does not work for me, no used to keep it..maybe in a few month/years ithen i'll try it again.  Roll Eyes

Used what you can and what work best for you, your HS will know what is good for you for the moment.

Thanks A, With love, Romain

I am very new to the site...and at first started a thread when I felt lead here, about the recent loss of my partner...and did all kinds of rambling about all these kinds of things that I have always wished I had others to talk to about, since I was small...and have kind of had this crash course with by finding things out, a little bit at a time, and of course feeling all kinds of conflicted about myself b/c of it. I'm so delighted with the things I'm finding here, that are talked about with loving familiarity and as common knowledge things.....how much I know I will be able to grow now, and so much faster with the help of others...

I have been having so much fun here,  reading and responding to threads here and there...that until now I had not ventured out of one forum...lol. Feeling brave at almost 2am I came to this forum, and I have to say, I almost fell out of my chair! One of the biggest things I wanted to ask about, and have been looking for validation with what I know is happening,.....not that the experience is happening, b/c I feel certain.....but wanting to get some idea as to why this kind of thing was happening to me,and hopefully find out some kind of information about it, and to see if anyone's had that experience. And "that experience" is the very topic of this forum!! I really can't believe it, it makes me feel so much better about so many things.I didn't even realize that it had a name for it, unbelieveable, I literally asked my recently crossed loved one to help me find something that could be of some use to me at this time of extreme...extreme everything...pain,loss,and longing...etc..

I wish everyone the best of the best...I loved these two stories. Very nice indeed, and I'm glad I got the general gist of how to do the same idea, depending on the situation, and it seems many here go by their intuition with wonderful results.I'm sure I'll be spending plenty of time reading in this forum as well, b/c I'm sure to keep finding great information, and new ideas that will help. just wanted to say welcome again KarmicKiss. theres lots of material here on this mansion place with many rooms. beats watching local TV anyway Smiley I dont know that this forum can go so far as to mend a broken heart as I've had a couple of those in my life and only time seemed to do the trick, time and the thought that it was possible to mend, but we all will welcome your input as you're one of us you know! I think we got that straight, that we're all in this thing called life together.
please continue to share here anytime as I enjoy hearing from you. love, alysia
