dream
Sep 16th, 2006 at 5:40pm

I had an odd dream this morning after falling back to sleep. I dreamed that Bruce Moen and I had somehow exchanged cellphones. I didn't know I had his. For some reason I was talking to him over the phone. I realized we had exchanged phones and told him I wished I had some "common sense,' and we chuckled over that. Anyway, I then examined the phone. It had a clear button on it with his number showing through the plastic square button, kind of like a quick-dial button. There were compartments which held chocolate in them. I was eating some chocolate and thought, I like this phone and maybe he'll let me keep it. For some reason I thought he was in Ireland, and I pictured a nice cozy domestic scene there. It was just kind of a pleasant little dream with no feeling of the need to continue to do anything about the phone.

Hi Blink. I could swear I answered this post yesterday..but I must of pushed preview instead of post.  well hey! here I am again Smiley  I think, believe you contacted Bruce during your sleep, and the telephone becomes a symbol of communication which filters into your brain wave patterns upon full awakening. lol. I often wish for more common sense myself and bet Bruce would chuckle over your comment. you did an exchange. there is something in a compartment, something organized, something that taste good there. of course you can keep it! possession is 9/10's of ownership rights; isn't it? Wink

Some days ago in a dream I was in Ireland. I was there with a friend, in a sort of hotel, or more a youth hotel, my TMI Gateway Voyage had taken place there (which isn't true), small rooms, I should give German language lessons for someone, my friend had told around that I was a good teacher.

I have to laugh spooky
your dreams remind me of the ones I have been having lately.
I have been having some odd dreams and I must start documenting them! I met some friends in my dream who live in queensland on the Sunshine Coast, then someone I knew was giving me botox treatment in my hands and face, but told me i also needed an operationto remove a cancer from my ear, so ended up at the beach, meeting with a surgeon who was going to remove it, but th elocation was like a holiday resort.
I think this is my holiday in QLD  coming to the fore, and I now know that I am comfortable going. I was very aprehensive before because we could not make suitable arrrangements for our dogs.
I cried at the kennels when we went to look as it is all concrete and bars.
my dogs are used to a Queensize bed and airconditioning! lol!
anyway love toall

I'm glad you will write them down Cathy, the dreams as I keep a log too and it helps me get a handle on reality whatever the heck that is Wink  and I notice you are a proliferent dreamer who includes many others in your dreams, not just yourself. (remembering I was in your dream once! Smiley  Sometimes these others we dream of are some part of them really there trying to share something of their life with you and it is so neat! have had several healing up dreams..a friend said he came to me and did a reverse osmosis under the sink of my mind..lol...never did figure that out but I was sure whatever he did was just fine to help me reverse something.. Smiley
the doggies will be waiting for your return and sometimes they will pout when you return Angry  but I'm sure they will be in gratitude to your love as soon as you listen to all their complaints about leaving them, nodding your head in the appropriate places.

love, alysia

Lol alysia
I am just a neurotic mother of hairy kids!
Hubby is no better and he will only give his princesses the very best.
I will keep you posted on the dream front, just have been a little distracted at the moment with everything happening at once.
Even been a bit slack on my homework (I should be doing it now! lol!
Love Cathy

You all make me laugh! What funny places we end up in on these threads! Smiley

Thanks, Alysia and Spooky for your comments. Yes, Spooky, that is interesting that you dreamed of Ireland too. I had no particular reason to dream of Ireland....although, at the used bookstore the next day, some celtic poems stood out at me on the bookshelves. I didn't pick them up but now I wonder if I was supposed to see something there. Maybe I'll go back, as I need the Upanishad book I was reluctant to pay $6.00 for...however, the cover was shiny and bright and I'm sure that book is well worth the price of two cups of coffee at Starbuck's...

Of course it's okay!!! Smiley  I love to wander too, and I love holding all of your hands as you lead me into the "light fantastic"....

....did not know where those words came from so looked them up

"light fantastic" : a quote from a poem by John Milton and in the original context referred to dancing lightly with extravagance

...sounds appropriate!
