I just read the comments on the webpage for the cloaking technology, and now feel that it's just trick photography. I'm still interested though in whether or not the alien is real.

Near as I can tell that nice demonstration of the cloaking technology is one of three possibilities:

1) Good old traditional 'greenscreen' responsible for lots of movie special effects also cheap and easy to do.

2) Possibly projection of some type, if you look at the image in the objects it seems to be at a slightly different angle, the faker would argue that is the light bending round the object to 'stealth' it, its more likely an image recorded and projected onto the object

3) A pre-recorded video edited to play over parts of the main video. This would be the most unlikely because it would require a lot of complicated editing.
