I've asked my high school science teacher years ago, if apples will ever evolve sensory organs, get up off their trees by cutting themselves down, and walk around the earth like regular animals and insects. After looking at me like I'm a lunatic, he finally said "yes." I believe apples, carrots, plants and others will evolve the ability to get up and walk around with life, just like people, animals, and insects. I believe they'll dominate the earth in just a few million years or less.
