I set an intention to clean up astrally my property in anticipation of new owners arriving. I didn’t want any ghosts to mar their life, nor negative energy hanging about. Energy imprints around old houses can effect people in subtle ways, like dark colors might effect a mood. I was after all, a professional housecleaner in real life so might as well sweep up astrally. I had met my new owners astrally and had seen the light of love around the female’s head. I thought the property was clear but took a last assessment. Two houses were involved and the land was 5 acres, no telling what human drama had unfolded here. I’d heard rumors of a ghost. This was a dream state retrieval and pertinent in it’s swiftness.
  Without my body I knew I was energy. A ghost was also energy. Let’s call it mind energy. More of these types of encounters would occur in the collective unconsciousness areas as I went along. In the mind’s eye I pictured small tornados of activity, swirling and interacting; little whirlwinds picking up dust. Once this interaction was complete, form and symbology would reemerge and communication which could be translated by the brain would happen.
  I entered the sleep state after the intention setting. I Found myself moving through past or future scenery of the land and buildings, an all-time zone. New construction was occurring and a business was projected on the walls of time. I was searching through rooms, passage ways, corners and outposts for anything that might send a signal to me that it was out of place. Like a flashlight beam would do, I looked into corners. Nothing should bring disquiet to the family moving in here.
   I found a man in a shower who didn’t fit. Inquiring, I found he often took showers before going out on the town to look for women. He was a sociable guy but not a lot of intellect. “Have you been in that shower long?” I asked. “Why, yes I have I guess, I love taking showers; do it every single day to wash off the previous day’s sexuality romp.” He said this as if there was something unclean about the women he chose to bed. “Anyway, he continued, you can never be too clean!” Suddenly it occurred to him he was being observed by a woman. He was acting a bit too casual and offhand at this unusual circumstance as if he thought all women secretly desired him. He believed I was spying on his family jewels, that which he washed so thoroughly. As I looked closer to ascertain his purpose, I saw his essential harmlessness at his shower taking business, however I thought he should be moving on when he returned to me a leer which of course didn’t sit too well with me. I decided to not call on guidance, just do the job myself. First I had to get over my surprise to find this character on a farm within the astral counterpart. I swiftly grabbed onto his energy without considering where I would be escorting him when a flash of light energy permeated the area. The last thing my brain recorded is the look in his widened eyes and his mouth hanging open that he was being removed. I cracked up. Both he and the shower stall dissolved in the flash.
  I felt this shade was not conscious enough to resist moving on. I had seemed like a doorway of light for a moment. I made the decision for him. This was different than other retrievals where a choice is offered to whom is being retrieved. I had become a conduit and when I approached to grab him he received a current, his face reflecting this. Well, he was wanting to come clean, that was for certain. Wouldn’t going into the light be even cleaner? I had to deal with bypassing his choices and whether I had done the right thing. DP was always warning me against harmful judgmental thinking. I began to think of retrievals differently. They could be performed on the living or the dead, or portions thereof; fragments, broken off parts of people flitted through my mind; perhaps thought forms possessed life as well? Were there levels of liveliness? On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give my shade a rating of liveliness of maybe 3. My property was clean then. We humans got so caught up in sex, even our ghosts got hung up on it, it was downright amusing.

Funny somehow when you were cleaning up you picked up a guy who thought that one never can be too clean!

The shower guy reminds me of what Dave said, that most of the ghosts are thinking very one-way, narrowed. So your thought "Wouldn&#8217;t going into the light be even cleaner?" might very well be shared by the shower guy cause to be clean was his mind filling subject it seems.

I too had retrievals of people which I just "tunneled" or sent to the light without much words. Indeed, when I can talk with people in a calm way, and notice their emotions, I use the more polite "would you give me your hand and come with me to have a look at a nice place"- method, I feel in those cases it would be even difficult or not succesful to do the "sending" method, because broader thinking and feeling people would much more resist the sending method than the simple-minded, these are easy to impress with bright light and a nice farm, for example, while the other people are thinking more principally, like: "No one has to send me anywhere", "I chose this place and will stay here", "I'm not dead, but you're an illusion" etc...
I guess if you choose the send-method but the retrievee really don't wants to move, it wouldn't work, you can't force it if one really don't want to.

Retrievals of the living could be understood in different ways. I noticed after doing some retrievals a stronger sensitivity regarding living persons (me included) and their stuck-situations in the physical life, and thus to work on it psychologicaly. Or you understand "retrievals of the living" as working from the nonphysical plane on the physical, like shamans have done and do, retrieving aspects of living people.

A complicated thing I find is "thought forms". I'm not sure if I could in every case clearly distinguish between a thought form and a person in the nonphysical. Once I saw a woman, she had died in a fire, and was stuck in this fire, holding her baby tight to her, and the baby, I knew somehow, or was told, was a thought form of her real baby, whose soul had already moved on. So this thought form wouldn't need a retrieval, it was just an extension of the woman's thoughts, and when she would get more clear in mind, and/or meet her real baby in spirit, the thought form would dissolve. The question would be, can those thought forms really get a life on their own so that we must consider them as persons, or at least life forms at the level of animals? I know you are even considering relationships could be seen as persons, or semi-persons. I personally have no certain experiences with this.

so this was a little boy, shivering, that is the hardest, when fear is involved, you have great problems to contact. You have chosen good to tell this one, the questions are occuring again: Was it really a little boy, a person on it's own, or was it the man, but looking like this boy, or was it this in-between-entity, which came into being as a result of your relationship with the man, that would be difficult to integrate in our thought-systems, but quite interesting! But we don't have to put everything in boxes, maybe there aren't boxes for such things.
