this has only been a recent thing, but suddenly, various things that i have dreamt (nothing major, as of yet), and things i have thought while daydreaming (usually a few minutes/ seconds after i think them) have started materialising in one way or another- usually just trivial things that don't mean much, and it my be that i have just started noticing it rather than it just starting to happen, but its rather odd and starting to freak me out a bit. does this happen to anyone else? thanks for reading.

This phenomena does seem to be happening more, and gets brought up periodically on these boards under various names.  You are not alone in this, it's a characteristic of these changing times when we are becoming more sensitive, etc.
Mairlyn gives good descriptions of these changes.  She must have missed your topic tho this time. You could PM her for more info.
The main thing to learn from this is not to fear it, don't think you are causing these events, and use it to further your own positive spiritual growth.
