Spooky, here is that story I got from the internet forums. the fellow writing it is an author of science fiction. but science fiction is a use of the imagination, the same as we do here. so I believe its pertinent to ponder our creative abilities when we utilize the imagination, as then we can get a handle on how we create our realities both shared and personal.
_______
Okay, now I know this sounds incredibly far fetched. I'm still not entirely sure whether to believe it or not, but its just so incredible that I almost dont care.
I'm posting this with my friend permission. He was the one who actually did the exploration since I can't project yet. I merely helped orient him towards the details of the various worlds. He wants me to post thsi instead of him since it will add more validity.
Anyway, one night I was over at my friends house. We were discussing thought-forms, I came up with the idea for him to try and explore the section of the astral where the world from a fantasy series I'm writing might be contained. Well, he was succesful. It turns out that particular section of the astral connected to a whole other physical universe, with its own creator.
He traveled down to the world of my story, looking for the various cities and characters. Much to my shock, he was able to confirm details of this world that I had not yet revealed, such as geographical details, hidden ruins and future developments. For instance, he discovered an island in one of the oceans containing a transdimensional bubble, an aspect of my world I had taken ardous measures not to reveal. He was able to find my characters, and accurately describe their looks and personality, still finding details I hadn't yet mentioned. Furthermore, he was even able to talk to some of them. He had a long conversation with a dragon I had yet to introduce and a powerful female spirit.
The female spirit and other gods watching over this particular solar system were quite surprised by his presence, but knew what was going on, since travelers can pass between universes. They even asked him to spar a particular person.
One of the most interesting aspects of this world though, was the fact that it had already moved on several decades past the time my story took place, even though I'm still writing it. It wasnt just a subjective realm creating in the astral by my imagination, it had its own tangible existance.
My jaw keeping falling ever closer to the floor as he continually confirmed details of my universe. After that we investigated several other fictional worlds such as the Wheel of Time, the Shannara series and Final Fantasy 9.He found that the world of FF9 is much bigger than shown in the game, which was to be expected.
Both of us were utterly amazed by when we finally finished. Seeing evidence of the actual existance of my universe made me sort of feel like a proud father.
We both speculated as to what connection I might have with my story, as that universe had its own creator. The conclusion we came to, is that writers such as myself are actually channeling stories, especially the clear ones, but that furthermore, we are connected to these higher Gods on a level beyond time and space, and thus the ideation that brings worlds into existance is a co-creation of sorts.
After talking over this, I found that my vision of this story seems to have strengthened. It was very inspiring.
